Idolize Tattoo

I've passed this place for many years since I've lived here, and saw it in a new location; I decided I wanted to get my first tattoos here and I'm really glad I did! It was my first experience and I was very nervous. I wasn't entirely sure how to do walk-ins and all but, I went in, was greeted by one of the artists (I forgot to ask of her name) but she was with another client, and Henry came to the front and walked me through how the process worked. He was very friendly and helped me figure out a placement for my design and touched it up a bit before inking it onto my arm. I'm a very introverted fellow, so it was kinda nice that I could sit there quietly as he worked on it, but it was also inviting that I could jump into conversation.

At the end, the tattoo turned out beautiful, Henry did an amazing job keeping it very neat too and he gave me some insight on the tattoo aftercare. I'm definitely going to be coming in here for more designs I've in mind! :)

First time I came here was on a whim, knew what I wanted to get but didn't know what font or style. Amanda was amazing and super patient with me and drew something up that I loved. The second time I went she did my friend (it was her first tattoo) and the customer service was amazing. The tattoo came out great. She listened to everything my friend wanted and suggested a few ideas that ended up being part of the tattoo. She's very reasonable with time restraints and price quotes. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this shop and specifically Amanda as an artist.

Henry James is one if the most talented artists ever, he always thinks out of the box and i couldn't ask for a better artist! Hes super dope and makes you feel really comfortable with everything. i've gotten 4 tattoos from Henry and they all turned out amazing! he is a killer Artist! he makes sure his customers are 100% happy with what they got!(:

I got my first tattoo here on the first of October (yesterday) and I absolutely loved every moment at this place! I called in advance because I was looking for the best price and tattoo shop in general and they were very friendly and informative over the phone. Once I got to the store I was met by a girl named Katy, she was the sweetest! I showed her the tattoo that I wanted and she took some time to perfectly make a neat and clean stencil for me. Overall she made sure it was perfectly set in the right place of my forearm and she constantly talked with me and my friend to keep my mind off of the pain , though it didn’t hurt much. She even took the time out to finish up with my tattoo though they just closed and she informed me on how to take care of my tattoo afterwards ! Excellent place and excellent customer service! I fully recommend this place for anyone who is a first timer for a tattoo or just adding on tattoos! I can’t wait to go back, I’m already looking in what my next tattoo will be!!

He created a very tranquil environment and added mindful concepts to make this tattoo truly mine. AND WE STILL HAVE COLOR TO GO!!! I am super excited and delighted with his work 500stars!!

One of the best tattoo shops in Washington hands now. The staff is very friendly I got tattooed by Ping. She is amazing her work speaks for herself. Make sure you go and ask for her you won't regret it.

Henry did an amazing job with my tattoo! I’m in love with it and had a great time! Has really clean lines and was super friendly! Will definitely be coming back!

If you want a good time getting tattooed go see Henry James, he’s willing to take your ideas and run with them. He inserts his own ideas and artistic knowledge into the tattoo, making it original. Which I think is the most satisfactory way to get tattooed. All in all I let the artist make the call, they know what looks best. Also the shop looks cool and has a good vibe.

Ancient Arts Tattoo and Piercing is a great place to get pierced or tattooed. The staff is amazing, fun to be around and care very much about the art you are putting in your skin and the metal they are piercing it with. Jon is amazing, With every piercing he does, he makes sure you get in and out as painless as possible and talks to you through the whole thing if need be. Naomi is amazing also, a great piercer both are very sanitary and safe.
Robin is also amazing! I just recently finished my hip Tattoo with his help. I didn't have it drawn out, and he helped me figure out what I want, and drew it for me. He was incredibly patient when I got anxious and tensed up, he wanted to make sure I was OK and comfortable the whole time

Ancients, is a local shop located in renton,and is amazing shop, great people, sanitary, safe, and they care about you and your ink, or piercings. they make sure you know what you are doing, make it OK for your job, help you decide if it's right for you, and offer opinions that are both healthy and helpful. Go show them support, and love!!!!!

Henry is amazing!! I've been going to him for a few years now ever since I randomly walked in one day to check out the place and we just hit it off. His work speaks for itself, his personality is so fun and outgoing. Everytime I'm in the shop it's like catching up with an old friend. He'll be honest with you about everything from design to placement to style and is always looking out for you first. Thank you Henry!!
