My wife got a cover up tattoo from Pae. It was beyond all expectations! Pae is a true artist. The atmosphere at Rum Thai Tattoo is so relaxed and inviting. We brought our daughter with, who just wanted to watch the process. Pae brought her cookies and some toys to play with the cat. Over all an amazing experience. We will be going back soon. My wife has already decided to finish her tattoo off with color.
I highly recommend Rum Thai Tattoo. It is appointment only, no walk ins, something I actually really like. No interruptions from people just wanting to look.

Pae, the artist here, is wonderful to work with. She really listens to your ideas and makes your vision come alive. I have gotten two pieces done by her and I couldn’t be happier! She has a lovely cat that will come greet you when you come in, and she keeps all the equipment super clean. My first piece done with her was on my ribs and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

Shy was I was coming to a new spot, Pae made me feel very welcomed and offered tea as she pulled up the reference image I've sent prior to the appointment (she runs a home studio, but I feel it adds all the more comfortability!). On to the process! She was very to the point on her rates, e.g hourly or flat rate, depending on the request. I was very concerned about my reference image due to it being a bit blurry but she nailed the line work meticulously!! Throughout the session, she'd make sure I was comfortably resting on the chair and checking in on any pain levels, which she was very light on a majority of the piece, it was only until much later in the session it got a bit pained, but that was just due to soreness after a while. 😅Nonetheless, from the finished piece, as we had talked about in person, but even just looking, you could see how much she enjoys the art form and I was very very satisfied with the result. I highly recommend anyone going to her as she does a variety of styles, but especially for very contrasted greyscale pieces!

Pae is very professional and dedicated to her work. Her house/studio was very clean and inviting. She made sure the design I wanted was correct as well as the sizing and placement. I got my tattoo in a more sensitive spot and I was a little nervous about the pain but Pae made it very quick and easy with her skills as an artist. I couldn’t of had a better experience and I would 100% recommend her and I know I’ll definitely be coming back.

I could not have asked for a better experience. My mother and I went to get matching tattoos. I felt comfortable and taken care of. She was kind, considerate & did a great job with sketching. My idea was brought to life. She was very flexible and gentle since it was my first tattoo. Her prices were great and I would love to get more work by her.
