Joe gets you in as quick as he can and he also is a great tattoo artist. Not only is Joe talented he is very quick at tattooing. Joe is honestly a great guy and while tattooing he checked on me multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. Thanks Joe for squeezing me in on such short notice.

JESSSSEEEEE !!!!! JEEESSSSSSEEEEE !!!!!!!! JEEEEESSSSSSSSEEEEEEE !!!!!! My Wife and I walked in this morning he said he had an appointment, but we gave him our number and went shopping! His appointment canceled and he did my wife’s tattoo first ( go see her review )! But I had no idea what I wanted I said free style! AND THIS MAN SHOWED OUT !!! I LOVE MY TATTOOOOO !!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED ! I LOVE IT DUDE ! Jesse is so cool that we booked another session with him tomorrow!!! Thanks Dude for working us into your schedule! ❤️

I went in as a walk in client today to get a birthday tattoo for my 20th. Dan was super friendly over the phone when I called before and assured me somebody would be able to get me in at some point in the day. Everyone in the shop, including the owner joe, were friendly and had the best vibes! Ashley was the artist who did my tattoo and she took my inspo and made something unique and exactly what I wanted! Gorgeous line work and just the right amount of shading and detail. She made sure to check in with me and make sure I was doing ok and see if I needed breaks. I absolutely recommend going to her or any of the other artists at speakeasy!!

Really liked the shop and the vibes ! People were nice and got me in quickly. I spent around 1K, I left with an unfinished tattoo-beautiful work! But I after all , am unhappy because the artist had asked me to contact him for the touch up- and finishing the missing area I was promised…he never got back to me (or my boyfriend who also received a tattoo and was also promised a touch up.) I have yet to schedule an appointment to finish my tattoo… as I have been ignored by the artist (not a welcoming feeling.) 2 stars because my tattoo is unfinished and out of respect for artist and his good work- I wanted the original artist to fix it!! Sadly, I will be looking elsewhere for future work after being ignored multiple times. I live out of the area or I would have walked in.. Thank you!

Got my first tattoo here with James Corfield, and it was a great first time experience. James was super chill, and answered any questions I had. He's tattooed my wife and daughter and was my first choice when going in. He's earned a repeat customer. Will definitely be coming back for more work.

When I first considered Joe for a major cover-up, I knew he had a big task ahead. But he was confident and made me feels at ease. He has been working on a large piece for me for the past few months. He is kind, professional, and TALENTED. Every time I leave the shop I am amazed by the progress of my tattoo. The shop is VERY clean- immaculate even. The other artists are also welcoming and cheerful. I honestly cannot see myself going to anyone else for tattoos in the future. I cannot recommend this business enough. Will post photos when art is finished. ;)

By far the most welcome I have ever felt in a shop. On top of that Joe Riley is a rockstar! He took on a coverup I’ve been told couldn’t be done and he was excited about it! He knocked it out of the park and did a ton of work in our first sitting. Not only did he cover the old work but the new work is far above what I could have asked for. I will be finishing this project with him and moving on to bigger ones. 10/10 would recommend Joe Riley and Speakeasy tattoo no matter what work you want to have done.

Best shop in the spokane area in my opinion. Amazing atmosphere and you’ll never get bored looking at all the eye candy on the walls. Joe Riley is an amazing tattoo artist, definitely going in again and having him do more work on me soon.
