I had such a great experience at Speakeasy with Phil Sachs. He fixed a less than great older tattoo of mine. cleaned it up and made it pop! He was super professional, patient with me when it came to my decision making and his work speaks for itself. I won't be going to another tattoo artist! You can't hate that he is a personable, dedicated family man too! Great guy, artist and friend! Thanks Phil!

I went to see Joe Riley at Speakeasy Tattoo and he is INCREDIBLE! My sleeve is beautifully done, his work speaks for itself. It’s a very clean, friendly tattoo shop. Would recommend to anyone and will be going back for all future tattoos!

I went in and got two tattoos done by Joe Riley! I loved his shop atmosphere and he himself was awesome to work with, he is super friendly and outgoing and I loved that he was interested in keeping a conversation going, made for a great experience!! This review isn’t about the business, rather the tattoo artist Chris. I had booked an appointment with him a month ago when he was at a different shop. I go in to find out that he was let go because he was taking deposits and then not doing tattoos. He never tried contacting me in any way to say he would be working somewhere else. So the other shop told me where he was working now and I called him to see what was going on. He then tells me that he might not even be able to do it that day and he’d let me know later if he could. I live an hour out of Spokane and took the day off work for this tattoo so hearing this on top of everything else was extremely upsetting. So I simply said that I didn’t want to do the tattoo anymore (I mean by this point who would) and asked for my $100 deposit back. He then starts going off saying that the “deposits are non-refundable” and “it’s clearly posted in the shop”. I explained that I understood that if I was the one calling last minute to cancel, not receiving my deposit back would make sense. But I showed up on time on the date planned. Also he no longer worked there, so I don’t think that policy is technically in tact. He still refused but said if one of the guys at the other shop wanted to tattoo me he’d bring them the $100 deposit back. I went back and the guys there made it right by me and I got the tattoo I was wanting. So hopefully Chris follows up on his side and brings them the $100, but based off his track record I highly doubt it.

Great place, loved the tattoo shop all around. It was a bit comical... The artist themselves were great, and super nice and laid back. There work is outstanding, we just so happen to stumble upon this place by accident and were surprise with the greatness and genuineness of each artist. I highly recommend stopping by and getting a piece done.
