Fortunata Tattoo is one of the cleanest shops I’ve been to. From the minute you walk in the door you’re greeted by friendly faces and a professional environment. You get the idea that this team really cares about their shop. I worked with Kayla, who’s an exceptional artist and knows how to cater to her clients. Whether you like to chat it up or just sit there silently during your tattoo you’ll have a great experience. The studio is more open format than some places, but you always feel taken care of and comfortable. If you’re looking for a great, clean, professional studio Fortunata is the spot for you. Moreover if you’re looking for a great artist with a wide variety of skills who can give you a tattoo you’ll love for life I highly recommend checking out Kayla’s portfolio. Fortunata claims to be the finest tattoo experience in Spokane. I would argue it’s one of the finest tattoo experiences period! Fortunata feels like a spa experience mixed with professional art/design studio.
The staff and artists are kind, authentic, knowledgeable, and very experienced. It’s why I’ll drive close to 4 hours to see my artist Kayla Barnes.
If your looking for a tattoo head over to Fortunata, they have raised the bar to guarantee you’ll love the entire tattoo experience.

Every artist in the studio does their best to make sure you’re comfortable, and works with you to give you even above and beyond the best tattoo you could expect.
In the pictures, I got my snail from Carson, my postage stamp from Sal, and my soot sprite from Mr Zody.
Seriously, if you want a tattoo from an amazing local artist, look no further than Fortunata.
Bonus, they have local artist’s jewelry and paintings for sale, it’s nearly impossible to leave without a trinket as well as a sick tattoo!

Kayla Barnes is a 10/10 artist. She completely designed my sleeve based off of my kindergarten skill drawing. And it’s DOPE. Super chill girl and has a light hand. Makes for an enjoyable experience.

I loved the whole experience! Very very nice professional place absolutely wonderful atmosphere. Super simple way to get an appointment through email (as I have an aversion to phone calls, haha) The tattoo artist, (J) did a fantastic job I’m so pleased with the outcome. They took my inspiration ideas and made something exactly what my brain looking for. Couldn’t have had a better experience, they clearly know what they’re doing! Very kind receptionists as well. I can tell these people are passionate about delivering what customers want.
