Oh lordy, my artist Jeff was technically proficient and an excellent artist (I'm sure) but I'd strongly recommend against using him unless you A. have your design IN HAND as you want it and B. Are ok with him designing whatever he wants.
I gave him a pretty simple, boring request for an outline design and had to actually press/disagree on subjects such as "that is not actually what my cat looks like". Unfortunately for me I'm a pansy who didnt advocate more/just leave, fortunately for me we kept the tattoo basic enough that taking it to another shop to get the additional details+additions done should be easy. As someone who has had a couple tattoos done before and is looking to get larger ones done in the future, respect and costumer service is HUGE for me. I need someone who is pleasant to be around and helpful/professional in the process and an artist who is ranting about how young tattoo artists these days have no respect and would get their hands broken is not where I intend to return.
A real shame, because the shop's page as a whole looks lovely.
