Ive gotten tattooed by Ross and Gem, and i couldnt be happier with both! Gem did some of the smallest writing Ive ever seen on a tattoo, its exactly what i wanted and im so impressed! When i first came across this shop i was trying to find someone to do my head tattoo, so it took me along time to find an artist i really liked, after looking at this shops work i would definitely say theyre one of the best in Tacoma. Hope to get many more tattoos here āŗ

Went in for there $40 Friday deal, was welcomed right away, placed my name on the wait list, received a call around the wait time i was told. The artist was friendly and ensured I was happy with everything before tattooing. Highly recommend!

Showed up on the evening of Friday the 13th. After waiting for a while, which is to be expected on a crazy day like that, I was called back by Ross. I was his final tattoo of the day, number 27! He was still engaging, talkative, and gentle even after a long, long day. My tattoo is healing beautifully, and I can't believe I was able to get a wonderful tattoo for just $40!

Man this shop here is one of the best ones Iāve been to. The vibe from when you first walk in all the way till when your done is amazing, they are people that treat us with respect and open to hear your stories and the different walks of life that come thru there. My previous tattoo artist retired so I was very pressed about where I should go to next for my tattoo inquires. The tattoo shop has an old school California Pachuco vibe. As soon as you walk in, youāll see calaveras, payasos, virgencitas y sombreros; making me feel RIGHT at home. I absolutely loved the vibes as soon as I walked in.
I came here to get a tattoo on my hand from Megan (@gem.tattoos on IG). She was recommended to me by one of our mutual friends. Megan has incredible artistic ability (check out her drawings) so I didnāt doubt she would get me right. I had seen her work on IG and decided to come in for a tattoo that I was expecting to hurt, but Megan is not āheavy handedā at all so I barely even felt anything. I also appreciate Megan being patient with me as Iām very particular about my tattoos and nit pick everything.
While I was getting my finger tattooed a friendly lady with a beautiful sparkly smile named Jennifer approached me asking if I would be interested in a tooth gem. To be honest, I had already been looking around and researching the best place to go for tooth gems, but was weary because I didnāt want to risk my teeth for a sparkly moment. I asked Jennifer a couple of questions about the process and immediately felt comfortable and trusting with her. I knew that she would do me right. She was very understanding of why I would be weary. I really appreciate Jennifer explaining every single step in the process to me while I was getting the gems put on. I ended up getting two tooth gems, one on each k9 tooth. It has been almost a month and my tooth gems are still sparkly and perfectly intact. I love my new tattoo and tooth gems!
Overall, coming through to the Pacific Ave Tattoo was an excellent decision. I walked out killing two birds with one stone; got my tooth gems and tattoos for very reasonable prices! All while getting to enjoy the pleasant vibes of the shop and other friendly staff. Which, by the way, I thought was super refreshing and nice that other tattoo artist were encouraging Megan and giving her words of affirmation while she was tattooing me, to let her know she was doing great. I would absolutely recommend this shop, but especially these two beautiful ladies to any of my friends and family.
