"Visualize Tattoo is one of Tacoma’s hidden gems. The walls are crushed in vintage flash not found on google, it is a must see if you are in the area. The flash designs displayed on the walls rotate, so there is always something new to see, and all the artists love tattooing anything picked off the walls. Much of the art you see is hand painted using paint brushes and nibs. There is a small museum dedicated to sharing the history of tattoo culture in the waiting room. First time getting a tatoo. Frankie did wonderful line work in my first visit. I brought in my design I want and he executed with precision and made some changes resulting in fantastic placement of it, avoiding unnecessarily painful spots. very friendly, great result and reasonable cost. Highly recommend if you want a clean crisp tatoo.

First time going to here, Alex was my artist and did a great job, I showed him what I was looking for and he drew it up I'm his fashion. Service was great there, they were very professional and welcoming. Great place to go for a tattoo. Ask for Alex if you're looking for some really good work.

Love this place! I genuinely can’t stop coming back! I’ve gotten 2 tattoos done by Matt and I love them. He does a great job and makes it a nice environment. Definitely a favorite!

Left this place disappointed. After months of waiting to get into this place. The owner David Jennings makes an appointment and does not communicate with his clients. when I showed him the tattoo that I wanted he went two months to get back to me and calls me the day of just before going to his shop and tells me that my tattoo is weird and it’s not going to work. Mind you I was texting him multiple times before going in on my appointment for him to tell me he can’t do what I asked for. Then he shows me some thing entirely different that I had showed him and got upset with me because I did not want to mark up my body for the ear of my life with what he drew. He further go’s on to compare his personal life story and events to mine. He tells me he’s experienced more loss than anyone in this hole world and that my problems and losses are nothing. David made me feel lower than I was already feeling that day. Was excited for my tattoo that day but instead I left and walked away in more pain, thank you David Jennings

LOVE THIS PLACE! Alex did my first two tattoos nine months ago, hearts and a letter tattoo, and did an incredible job with them! Almost three weeks ago, Frankie, another tattoo artist, did two of my latest tattoos, a colored cherry tattoo and a dedication tattoo. They care about their customers and they want you to leave loving your tattoos
. They're really nice people as well. Definitely recommend them. : )

Ive been coming here for 2 years now and I absolutely love this shop! The staff at Visualize is extremely friendly/ knowledgeable and the shop is super clean. Frankie is the man! Every time I bring him an idea he makes it better then I envisioned. Frankie is very professional and passionate about his art, nothing but respect for the guy and his fellow artists. If you are looking for a good tattoo spot, look no further! Highly recommend this place!
