Genesis Tattoo Studio

Phil is hands down the best when it comes to all things tattoo. I had seen some Facebook posts and decided to stop by and see if Phil lived up to the expectations I now I expected of him. Long story short, he not only owns the shop, he's the sole artist there. His free hand is phenomenal and his prices, lets just say I immediately left and went to the ATM to book my appointment. We're talking $600 for eight hours of work. It's no wonder this guy's always booked far out and it's because he does outstanding work!

ABSOLUTELY loved Jesse and his work! He will be my new tattoo artist. Very caring, so personable, pays close attention to detail, respectful, shares valuable information, and did amazing work. 10/10 recommend.

Jesse was professional, gentle and explained everything prior. Took his time, always letting me know what he was doing; while working. He drew what I wanted and delivered it as a picture on my leg! My 6th. Tattoo and the best work yet. I would highly recommend Jesse, and Genesis to my friends and loved one's.

I got multiple tattoos done by Phil about five months ago. Though it wasn't my first tattoo, I was nervous about getting one on my ribcage, and Phil had a very professional and calming presence. We spent about 30 minutes adjusting the placement of both the ribcage and ankle tattoos, and Phil was very patient and bent on making sure they were symmetrical and just right. The entire process was efficient and clean, and both tattoos have healed nicely after many months. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone in the Vancouver area!

I cannot say enough how great my experience was. I got my tattoo done by Phil and I absolutely love it. He was friendly and professional and the artwork is beautiful. I will definitely be going back as soon as I decide what I want next, and I would recommend him to everyone.

Jesse is not only a fantastic artist, he truly cares about ensuring he gives his clients the best quality work from start to finish. This is a clean, professional studio using only high quality, USA made vegan inks. Jesse has a gentle touch and a great personality, making the whole experience a breeze!

I had a great experience with Phil. He was very prompt at messaging me and was able to see me soon after I had contacted him. It was my first tattoo(and I was very nervous)and he was so relaxed and easy going that it put me at ease. He worked with me on my design and gave me exactly what I wanted, while still making sure it was going to be a quality tattoo. I am very pleased with the art work he has placed on me and can't wait for the next one!!

Very good clean and professional Jesse uses the best equipment and he is very passionate about his work. His work is very detailed and he stays consistent throughout the session. Definitely recommend.

Extremely poor customer service!! I was quoted $325 and over a three month period due to my pain limit I ended up doing shorter appointments n a few more. All in all however i paid $475 and it still isn’t finished. I felt grateful and appreciated his respect and patience regarding my pain threshold and every time i came to an appointment i kicked him down money. I was told it wouldn’t be finished until I paid another $50. So mind you I missed one appointment total due to my error n was aware of it ten minutes after the fact. However before that... always punctual, provided two lunches for Phil, gave him a $30 shelf, a $140 mini fridge n freezer because I knew summer was coming and wanted him to have cold drinks for himself in his new business. I guess I totally chose the wrong place to get my dream tattoo done!!
