For months I had tried reaching out to my usual tattoo artist. I wanted two tiny tattoos - a clover and my dads heartbeat. After numerous months of being ignored I decided to look elsewhere, and I'm so glad I did! Word of mouth led me to Alter-Ego. I gave them a call and RJ was SO pleasant to talk to. I could immediately tell she wanted to help. Just the following day I got lucky and there had been an appointment cancellation. RJ reached out and asked if I wanted to fill the slot. OF COURSE I said yes and rushed my butt over to the shop and met my tattoo artist, Heather. She was kind and easy to work with, and though my tattoos were small and simple she made me feel like they were important (especially my dads heartbeat - RIP dad

State of the art! I got my first tattoo today and couldn't have been a better experience. All the staff are very friendly and professional and the place has a clean, calming and inviting atmosphere. The scheduling process is outstanding! The booking was done in a blink of an eye and they placed a follow up call to confirm my appointment. I brought a sketch of what I wanted and Ruth, my tattoo artist, worked wonders putting her unique artistic touch to give life to what I envisioned. I'm super pleased!

I had a single line tattoo done recently that was so poorly executed. I have met with 4 other artists within Wisconsin who have suggested removal verse cover up or it would turn into a dark and large mess; and it would end up being nothing that I had wanted. So $2000 and probably a year later I will hopefully be done with this mess. Do not recommend this studio for this type of work!
