Miguel is a beast! He's done my lower half sleeve, and my upper arm. If you want black and gray, and you want realism, then you want Miguel! Will be back. Drove over 9 hours to use Miguel and will be driving back in a few months! Shop is super rad with awesome decoration, and is super clean. Can't recommend enough!

If you’re looking to get a tattoo, you need to go into twisted skull and ask for Miguel. He doesn’t waste your time or your money, and I guarantee if you get a tattoo from him you will be more than happy with the results. I don’t plan on ever getting tattooed by anyone else anytime soon.

They were able to get me and my friend in about 30 minutes after we called! Ben was really friendly and super quick about everything, and the quality he produced was amazing. Highly recommend getting your tattoo done here!

I'm really disappointed in the outcome of my tattoo experience with Jake. I stopped in on Sept 2020 to book and drop a deposit to get work done on a sleeve. I explained that I wanted to get this done over the winter and I'd like it done no later than the end of March 2021. Jake assured me we could get it done, no problem. He booked me Dec 8th and 22nd. Well, on the morning of the 8th he canceled that day. I asked about getting in the books for another appt... I was told we could book when I came in on the 22nd. Got work done on the 22nd and was pretty happy with the outcome. Unfortunately he couldn't get me in until Feb 2nd at this point. Feb 2nd went well too, but we had more work to do, so he booked me for April 4th. On April 4th he canceled on me, last minute. I was literally in my car driving from an hour away... I said that I would like to get rebooked asap because I had planned to be done with this. He ended up booking me on April 25th, which he ended up canceling day of, again! After going in circles to find a date that would work, we couldn't make it work, so luckily he refunded my deposit. But in the end I was treated like a pain in the a##, even though I was canceled on by him for 3 of 5 appts! I took off work to be at those appts and lost income! If I would have done that, I would have lost my deposit... I'm really disappointed because the work he did was decent but honestly, I couldn't risk losing another day of work for him to cancel on me again. I really hope he gets things worked out so this doesn't happen to others. Tattoos are a big expense and I did my part to be a reliable client, I'm just disappointed that courtesy wasn't reciprocated....

I walked in off the street and was surprised by the appearance of the place. It's well decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The artist gave good advice regarding size, placement, and coloration of the tattoo. Tattooing was done out in the open rather than behind a curtain: the shop is probably only big enough to accommodate 2 or 3 artists. Mike did my tattoo that afternoon and he did a great job. I was given products and written instructions on how to care for my new tattoo. I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend this place.

Very Disappointed, called for a walk in appointment, was told there was an opening and said i would check with my friend to see if it worked. 5 minutes later we physically went in to the studio to confirm with one artist and asked if we needed to leave a name or phone number for the appointment and the artist said no just to return at our appointment time. We return an hour later at our appointment time to get our tattoos and the artist said he no longer could tattoo us because he had booked another group. Was looking forward to being tattooed by the artist but will not be returning due to the disorganization and chance of losing another appointment 40 minutes away.

Friendly and welcoming, Miguel was very polite, thorough, and has great talents. I Walked in an hour before close on a tues evening , he squeezed me in for a quick ink session, I'm thrilled. Great place to get some art. THANKS

I brought in a small drawing similar to what I wanted. Ben took it and made it something so much more than what I ever could have done. He took my small vision and made a beautiful piece of art. I will come back for sure. While tattooing, he answered all my questions. Made me feel at ease. Didn't act like I was stupid or anything. Very good place.

The only place to go in La Crosse if you want a great looking custom tattoo. If it weren't for the sound of tattoo needles buzzing you wouldn't even know it was a tattoo studio when you first walk in. Make sure to go in and check out the artwork that is available there as well.
