A Dead Anchor Tattoo & Body Piercing is located downstairs in 1925 Monroe Street, downtown Madison, WI which is walking distance from Camp Randall Stadium. A Dead Anchor Tattoo is by appointment only. The artists here specialize in Tattoo & Piercing procedures including, Piercing Landscaping, Flash Work, Custom Designs, Portrait Work, Cover-ups, and much more. While we strive to bring you the highest standards in tattoos and body piercings procedures we also provide you with a fun-filled relaxing atmosphere. I had both my tragi pierced here recently, because of the great rating, and I must add to it. The girl who performed the procedure had 8-9 years of experience, she told me. She gave me a $10 discount since I was having both done. Very friendly, and explained what was happening and what to expect, every step of the way. When it was done, she thoroughly explained aftercare, and told me to feel free to stop back in with any questions or doubts, and that she'd help me change the piercings once they're ready. If I decide to get any more piercings, I'd definitely return to Dead Anchor. :)

I have been seeing Brandon over 5yrs. now and his talent just amazes me every time! Love the work and the welcoming that A Dead Anchor Tattoo brings. There is nowhere else that I would go but here! Great atmosphere, great talent that will make you come back for more ink!

I literally went in an hour before close to get a jewelry change on my four month old daith. Let me tell you something, I want Brandon and Jordan (sorry if I spelled them wrong) as my best friends! Best experience I’ve ever have in a tattoo shop and I was only there for maybe 20 minutes. Never going anywhere else now!

Besides being very poorly located and hard to fine, Came in to get simple writing drawn place in a circle and was advised to and i quote "take that idea, go home to this website, generate what'd you'd like and come back". I went there believing in Tattoo "Artists" and left very disappointed. If you arent able to draw words in a circle, I don't believe you are a True artist. Plus points shop was Clean and Professional looking, just wouldn't be able to say the work was good as I went elsewhere for my tattoo the very same day.

Definitely one of the best tattoo and piercing shops in the city. They're very friendly and are always willing to answer any questions you have. Their prices are incredibly reasonable. This place rocks. I got my bad apple (as seen in the photo on this page) and hornet tattoos here and couldn't be happier with both of these tattoos. Brandon is one of the best tattoo artists out there and one of the nicest guys around. Every time I come back to Madison I will be getting more work by Brandon!

I have gotten 9 tattoos and counting from Jordanne and each visit I have made to the shop has absolutely made my day. I have always been met with a friendly face and a genuine greeting. Which is, to say the least, the most relieving thing when youre getting work done. Every piece that I have gotten here has been nothing shy of jaw dropping.
I work in retail and I have to keep a stack of her cards at my desk because everyone wants to know who did it. I have had strangers approach me and tell me that they havent seen something so detailed and beautiful come out of the Madison area in a long time. Heck, one of my tattoos even got me a free sub from subway one time. If you're in the market for an entertaining experience and a new tattoo or piercing, this is 200% the place to go.
