Good Land Tattoo

When you approach Good Land from the sidewalk, your eyes are drawn to the gilded leaf on the entryway door and the wood work behind the shop sign that hangs above. Right away you can tell this isn't your typical tattoo shop. The owner, Ben, has really taken the smallest details into consideration and you can tell he takes pride in his shop. From the rustic decor, to the beautiful wood work or the unique taxidermy, Good Land is hands down the most aesthetically pleasing tattoo shop to exist in the city of Milwaukee.

At Good Land you won't find the walls covered with the typical generic flash art that you would at most shops, but you will find that they are covered exclusively in hand painted traditional artwork done almost all by the in house artists.

You won't find that judgmental attitude that you get at some shops either. Ben, Mark and Isaac are all incredibly friendly, fun and personable. On top of that, they're skilled and professional. Whether it's your first tattoo or your 50th, these dudes truly care for their work and their clients and that is proven in each and every tattoo that they produce.

I saw Mark here for a tattoo. He listened to exactly what I wanted and drew up the perfect tattoo for me. The place was clean and professional. They had good music playing. Mark is great and my tattoo turned out amazing. I'll definitely be back in the future. Only wish I had found this place sooner!

Best tattoo shop in Milwaukee! Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions thoroughly and professionally. It's a fun atmosphere and the cleanest tattoo shop I've ever been in. The owner Ben is very charismatic and very passionate about the industry. Mark and Steve are also very talented and give will give you a great experience! I would recommend Good Land Tattoo to anyone looking for quality professional work done!

Great place. Exceeded my expectations

I recently just got a tattoo done here and overall, I'd say that the artists here are competent and skilled! However, the artist that I had gotten an appointment with made me wait for him to finish a smoke break before we could get started and overall made me wait around 20 minutes and then once we actually got started, every time I needed a break to recompose myself after being hyper-stabbed, I got a healthy dosage of attitude from the very person who told me to tell him when I needed a break. So, even though they still did a good job, I mostly likely won't be coming back.

We love this shop so much. These guys are absolute artists, but they're also just normal, likable dudes. I have a tattoo from each of the three artists and every one is perfect. Highly recommend.
