In March of 2020 my friend gave me a gift certificate for this place but I didn't make an appointment due to covid. The gift certificate expired in December of 2020 and in March 2021 I reached out to ask if I could still use it. They said they were only closed 3 months and I should have used it when they reopened. I'm very disappointed, I really thought they would honor the gift certificate under the circumstances. I never thought to call during the pandemic and even if I had I would not have booked an appointment during 2020. They are missing out on the commission (I was planning to spend more than the certificate was worth) and they're depriving an artist from a cash tip. Oh well. I heard they're good, though, so two stars instead of one.

Beth did an outstanding job tattooing an outside design I brought in and of my three tattoos, this was the easiest to sit through and most comfortable. A great touch. Plus Beth was willing to listen to my blathering on and on. Highly recommend.

Went with a family member as they got their first tattoo. Emily was the one who did the tattoo and she was great, very patient as she explained things, very clean and extremely professional and personable. Also, while I waited I enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful artwork around the store from local artists. Definitely a first rate place.

I showed up late and they completely turned me away after having been tattooed by this shop multiple times. I currently live 2 hours away, and made the trip out, but was told to just go home when I arrived. Person who I'm assuming owns the shop is rude and aloof, while the other artists are friendly, but have to sit back to his tirade.

For years I have been saying that I wanted to get a tattoo. Nothing too big, just a small ocean wave on the inside of my foot. I began searching tattoo artists on instagram. I found a few I liked, but it wasn't until I visited the town of New Glarus and walked by the Art & Soul Tattoo and Gallery that I came across Beth's work on instagram. The INSANE quality of her pieces blew me away. The colors are so bright and fun and (what sealed the deal for me) her linework is perfection! At the first appointmet, Beth made sure to be extremely thorough in explaining the entire process and after care for a tattoo. Furthermore, she was very accommodating and flexible with scheduling the follow up touch up appointment because of weather issues. For anyone who is hesistant about getting a first tattoo or getting a new addition packed with color and originality, I highly recommend Beth and the incredible team at Art and Soul!

I got a simple tattoo that went around my ankle. I went with my sister. Kelsey was the artist. The lines goes thin then chunky which isn’t what I wanted at all! As she placed it on my leg i couldn’t see it right so I assumed it was perfect but my sister pointed out that it was crooked! If my sister wouldn’t of came with me I would of left with a crooked tattoo! Unbelievable! Never coming here again!
