Patches Tattoo & Emporium

Danny was simply put, HORRIBLE!! I brought my 17 year old here for her first tattoo and not only do the tattoos look terrible, but every question we asked he responded with a very condescending or smart remark, as if to say we should know all about tattoos and we are just ignorant for not having knowledge that a tattoo artist has? He also sat outside smoking cigarettes for about 20 minutes while we waited for him to do our two small tattoos. We even requested another artist but the front desk informed us it would “complicate her job”. All around negative experience.

The folks running the shop are amazing!!! Their guest relations are through the roof. As far as talent and quality of work, just look at the pics online, they speak for themselves 😁

Seems to be a decent place, daughter got a tattoo here. They are definitely pricey for a small tat, Danny is a bit rude in my opinion. Oh, and they are cash only. FYI...

I went in to Patches Yesterday while in Gulf Shores on vacation. The lady at the desk was super sweet and helpful. Danny had an opening and said he could do my tattoo right then. He is an awesome tattoo artist. I showed him the design I wanted, he made a few adjustments to it and it looks great! I will definitely return to him for future tattoos. The picture is a little blurry due to the covering on it.

Amazing shop! Second time getting a tattoo from here while on vacation and they always do an amazing job and always make sure you feel comfortable! Victoria was my artist and she did an outstanding job! Will definitely be coming back again!

I absolutely fell in love with this shop. I've been in the area for 3 years now and have yet to find an artist that is willing to think outside the box and their own comfort zone to tackle any project. Well I believe I have found one here at Patches, his name is Danny, he did my spur of the moment hurricane 2021 tattoo and I am going to use him for the rest of my work from here on out. I have a sleeve that needs to be finished but I've had a very difficult time finding an artist to complete this work because the style is out of their comfort zone. While speaking with him as he was doing my tattoo he explained there is no project that he would be afraid to do, whether it was his specialty or not. This is what I expect from any artist. I'm very pleased with his work, very pleased with the professionalism of this shop, they're friendliness and great atmosphere. Not to mention their prices are outstanding and all the work I've seen from the artists here are amazing. I cannot wait to get started on my next project. Highly recommend this place. I have several tattoo shops close to where I live in Pensacola but I will be driving to Gulf Shores to get my work done from now on. Thank you Danny and thank you Patches tattoos. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.

My son and I went in for our matching tattoos in memory of his uncle, my brother in law. Brad did the work and was absolutely amazing. Everyone is friendly and timely. I greatly appreciate the wonderful business given. We will definitely return for any future tattoos or piercing. "One Luv"

Victoria is amazing! she took up a fixer upper piece and transformed it into exactly what was wanted. She made the shading perfect and we love the colors! She has amazing customer service every visit and makes sure all of her customers are happy and have all the information they need. Jess, the front desk personnel and piercer, gives off wonderful vibes and is super sweet. 10/10 experience! :) EDIT 9-22-22: i visited for a third time today and got my first piercings from Jess, and i just have to say, Jess is so professional in the way everything was handled and she made me feel so comfortable with my experience. another 10/10

My family and I found Patches Tattoo while we are here for vacation. All 5 of us got tattoos done by Dylan and it was an amazing experience. Him and Jenna were very welcoming from the beginning and very honest. He did amazing work and was very passionate about what he does! We were all extremely satisfied with the outcome of
his work and would recommend him

My fiance and I are down here on vacation. We walked in to get tattoos and were greeted by Gary. We told him our price range and he was able to tattoo us in that price and get us exactly what we wanted. This is my 5th tattoo and Gary is the most gentle artist I have had. I would definitely recommend him. This was my first color tattoo and he made me feel very comfortable knowing he uses the best ink and that the color will last. Also knowing we were on vacation he made sure the tattoo was perfect before we left adding more to certain areas I asked about and areas he saw. Also I want to put in here that while we were there they got inspected by the state and passed their tests! Go and see them if you want the best tattoos in Gulf Shores!!!!
