Contacted them through their Facebook page and talked to someone who said just come in during business hours. Went in at 12pm, there were about 4-5 people sitting around and not one was eager to help, when one finally did help he asked what I wanted and acted like he was looking online for ideas or something, gave me a sign in sheet and said he would call once they drew it up. It’s been close to two months with no word lol. So I went to Empire Tattoos, they took my idea and made it happen pretty fast. Slow Fade gave me the impression of a locals only tattoo shop, good ole boy system. Which is alright but bad for business if you’re the owner. Not professional at all, there was a bottle of bourbon at one workstation. I’m a drinking guy but if I owned a business I would definitely not drink or allow my employees to drink. Very unprofessional. Maybe they used it sterilize skin or tools I don’t know lol. That’s just my experience, yours might be better.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had here. I took a drawing that my 10 year old daughter did and got it tattooed by Zach. I originally wanted it shaded and kind of different from the drawing but he did all of the line work first and it was as if my daughter had drawn it on my skin instead of paper. It was spot on, looked exactly like her drawing and he asked me if I was sure I wanted it shaded before he continued and I was so happy with it, I decided to leave it the way it was and I love it, plus my daughter is very impressed. He gave me a very fair price for it too. I was with some friends from work and one of them got 2 pieces from the artist “road rash” and both of them turned out great. Both artists were very professional, friendly, and did high quality work at a very fair price, plus they’re great conversationalists. I will definitely be going back for my next piece and this was my 10th tattoo, done by the 10th artist I’ve gone to so for me to want to go back says a lot about them. I can easily say it was the best overall tattoo experience I’ve had so far, we had a great time! Highly recommend!

My wife got a tattoo their, gent their I think his name Matt is an incredible artist and very professional. I'm not experienced with tattoo work but after seeing how they operate and other folks there and some of the art he was,working on I'm very impressed. Keep it up and thank again.

Bought 2 gift certificates, used one. Been trying to get In touch to schedule an appointment to use the other and will get no response. After a while of trying to get in touch, I ask for a refund for my final certificate for the non business like conduct. I finally get a response after asking for a refund and he “scheduled me for an appointment”. When I asked what time he would like me there on the day of the appointment he ghosted me. If you would like a honorable tattoo artist, I do not recommend going here.

Zach Hall was amazing. He made sure I was ok during the tattooing process. Everything was nice and clean and the people were amazing. Great atmosphere. I will be returning for more artwork.

Matt & Chanel are amazing!! I love my nose piercing (healed perfect and placed perfectly!) and my tattoo is AMAZING!! I cannot wait to get it finished and colored.

With this being my very first tattoo , unsure of what I wanted , & being extremely nervous!!! Its great to say I had a wonderful experience at Slow Fade. They were busy , but it was worth the wait. I shot an idea of what I wanted it & my tattoo turned out really pretty ! Jeff took his time & everyone was kind & welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Matt is an awesome human being! He made my first tattoo at ease and quick. His staff and him are so friendly and helpful. I’ll recommend Matt to anyone. He is the best!

you ghosted a guest artist from NYC and never got back in touch. you also lied and said your tattoo license "covered all temp artist" which is a lie and there is no such thing. When the poor girl went to find another shop she couldnt even work because she didnt have the correct license because you said you had it covered. I wouldnt trust someone that lies about that to do a tattoo on me.

We love Matt and Chanel not just for the tattoo shop but also for all they do for others. They are great givers and are always there to lend a helping hand. They are a great asset to this community and it's citizens. Can't wait for my next peice of work.
