The Red Light Tattoo Studio

I have been going to Jt for over a year now and not only is he a great guy he is an amazing artist as well. He's not afraid to talk to you openly about your choice of a tattoo and the placement of it. I'd strongly recommend him to anyone!!!

The first bit he did was a cover up/ rework and I loved it so much I kept talking about the next one even though I didn't know what exactly I wanted. He helped with that and he's done an amazing job ever since!!!

JT has been tattooing me for over 6 months now and he is always professional and does excellent work. Yeah you don't have to like all his music, but stick around because he does like Bach and Chopin too! I highly recommend going here, it is well worth the time and money invested.

JT is amazing. He is a master at what he does. From start to finish he made sure I was completely happy with his work. He truly does care about quality. Shop was always clean. Thanks JT!!!

Got a tattoo with JT a few years ago and just now got around to writing a review. This place is top tier and the only place in Fairbanks I would trust inking my ideas into my skin. Highly recommend having a chat with them to see what they can do for you, they work with your ideas and will tell you upright what you need to tell them so they can put their spin on it and implement it via ink art. Whenever I am in Fairbanks again I will definitely be coming here for my tattoo needs!

JT Mac at Red Light gave me an amazing script tattoo. He was able to schedule me in the time frame I wanted and was helpful through the process! He was able to do exactly what I gave him and he seems like a good and experienced tattoo artist from the short amount of time I was in the shop. He has a very clean shop as well.

Wife and I got tattoos to commemorate our honeymoon in Fairbanks. Loved the vibe of the shop, JT was really friendly and had very helpful suggestions re: the direction of my piece and it all came together great. Super fun to talk to and did amazing work, we're both really satisfied with the quality. He knocked out both of our pieces fast but they don't look rushed at all.

My husband and I both got work done and J.T. Was polite and professional. He was very thorough with information and engaged in conversation with us through out the process. If you want amazing work and get it in a friendly and clean environment then I recommend red light !

Decided to get my first tattoo at The Red Light and I was more than impressed. The detailing is amazing and the artist himself was a pleasure talking to throughout the process. Definitely would recommend and will be returning in the future.

I needed a cover for a very bad tattoo someone else in town did. I wanted it done in a hurry, JT told that there was a process and I need to be patient if I wanted it done correctly. I glad I listened to him. He really knows his stuff and he is very talented. Im so happy I chose him. Thank you JT !!!
