Iconic Tattoo & Piercing

Met these wonderful people while at the Philly tattoo convention with my son and his girlfriend. Wanted a cover up done but had no idea what to do. Speaking with Hollis and his wife was like having a beer with friends. They helped me choose something that matched me, did an awesome job at covering the old while sprucing up my boys' names amazingly. All I can say is I wish they were closer.

My daughter wanted her first tattoo and Hollis was my first and only choice. He was great and took his time making sure she was educated and knew what she was getting into.

I started coming to Iconic Tattoo & Piercing to get my tattoo's in September of 2016 and haven't stopped! They have amazing artists & once I met Hollis Cantrell, I knew he would be my artist for life! So far, I have gotten 6 tattoo's from him, and he has exceeded my expectations every time! I gave him an idea to run with, & has done an amazing job. I am absolutely in love with all that he has done for me & given to me!

My first tattoo from Hollis was a creepy cool pumpkin on my left forearm & he even added an additional background scene with bats, a flying witch, and awesome moon! The next tattoo's were my Pinhead Pooh on my left thigh, then we did Tigger Chatterer on my left calf, then my Butterball Eeyore on my right thigh, then my CD Piglet on my right calf, and the most recent as of a few days ago was my Roo twisty face Siamese Twin on my right knee.

I absolutely love Hellraiser, as you can tell from my theme that we are doing on my legs, and Hollis has brought my entire vision to skin & life!! I am so happy with him and couldn't see myself ever going anywhere else.

Next up, we will be doing my left knee with Kanga from Winnie The Pooh as the other twisty face Siamese Twin (Hellraiser Bloodline) style to match my right knee.

Horrid. These were stencils, KTa still completely messed up one of my bats, both had ink blowouts by the next day on the wing edges and the dots I got under the bats. They're ugly now, I am doing every home remedy I can find to try and lift my blown out color and I don't even want to go back to them for a free cover up or fix. I should never have tipped her. These are horrible and they're on my freaking neck. Wish I could rate 0 honestly. I don't know how you mess up and have such a heavy hand on a simple design.

I called about 4 or 5 times, got no answer. So I went to the shop to see if they do walk in piercings (which mind you is like a 10 minute MAX service) and they're are 3 employees. One tattooing the others chillin. They say they can't do it today but maybe tomorrow. Like what?? Nothing is going on in there. And you couldn't have answered the phone one of the many times I called so I wouldn't waste my time driving down there?? Thanks. I really wanted a piercing there because I trusted them based on their many good reviews but after my experience there, I will definitely be bringing my business elsewhere.

Was awesome very friendly and clean took us as walk-ins. My Mom was in from Dallas Texas and wanted a noise piercing and belly piercing. My daughter and niece both got nose piercing as well. And my self a brow piercing. We had called Bad Intensions Tattoos and told us come in at 2 pm on Friday the 26 of November. But after driving 45 mins from Gilbert Arizona we get there to find that now there closed for day. So we were able to call Iconic and get us in ASAP thanks To Eric and his nice staff.

Hollis is an amazing artist. He has done very clean beautiful amazing work for me. His art work holds up greatly, his color is amazing. You know you’re going to get great quality award winning art. His work speaks for itself great art work a great guy best tattoo artist I’ve met.

The owner Hollis Cantrell is the best tattoo artist that I personally know, and it's more than just about the amazing quality work, the atmosphere is welcoming and the company while you are there is fantastic! Hollis is great. I came in for a touch up on a 10 year old tattoo that had faded. Here is the story. I had a giant scar on my shoulder. Nobody in town would touch it. Hollis agreed to tattoo my scar. The original work was fantastic. Scar tissue is not normal skin, so the ink acts differently and ages differently and had faded a lot. Hollis stood 100% behind his work. Nice shop. Very clean. Cool vibe and very professional.

Though I have never been tattooed by Hollis, he is an artist that I have followed for quite some time and will definitely vouch for the quality of work he provides.
