It makes perfect sense that the reviews for this place are great.

The atmosphere is clean, safe, and comfortable, especially for other artists. Not only that, but everyone is welcome in at any given time throughout the day. If you’re not into tattoos, they have some cool small things from time to time that you can pick up (like skeletal moth earrings, or sometimes art for sale).

I believe that having a decent relationship with your tattoo artist is important, as well. Kevin is a great person that radiates pure joy and genuine support. It feels like a judge-free zone every time I go in. Talking with him throughout sessions also inspires me to continue to be a better person. I don’t think I would be comfortable with any other artist.

As for the tattoos, TOTALLY worth the wait. I know that his bookings are almost always full, but I don’t think I would go anywhere else to get in sooner. If you want something a specific way that Kev has the capability of doing, he will do it no questions asked. I recommended being flexible because if you combine your ideas with his and give him some wiggle room for his ideas, you will NOT regret anything. The shading and line work is jaw-dropping. He has an extremely steady hand…even when I was squirming around in pain during the saturation phase. My tattoo with him was time consuming, but surprisingly enough we got it done in two full sessions. SO impressive, I cannot believe I have this beautiful piece of art on my leg for the rest of my life.

Thank you so much Kevin, and Sarah, for being great business owners, artists, and people! If I decide to go for another tattoo, I won’t be going anywhere else.

I’ve gotten a couple pieces now from this shop, specifically with Madison. Shes ridiculously good at what she does, and everyone there is very friendly. I always feel welcome and comfortable in this shop. From what I’ve seen, ALL the artists here are incredible. My official go-to tattoo shop. Highly recommend. 👏👏👏

Can't say enough. As a blank canvas I walked into the shop and spoke with Kevin. He was able to fit me in within a month and had my lower forearm to just above my elbow done in one (my first) sitting. It's a memorial to my late wife. We emailed back and forth a few times and as I sat down at 1030 am Kevin got started. By 845pm I felt like we had known each other for years. The Dude is a really down to Earth guy that knows his trade. Having never had a tattoo before, I did my research and asked many of my friends and others I ran into with ink questions upon questions....when I first spoke with Kevin he gave me the answers I wanted; or needed, to hear. Having the ink for less than a week at this point I have been asked numerous times by people with ink where I had it done, and I reply with pride "Sea of Ink". I will be back to finish the shoulder, and more!

I sent Kevin a pic of what I wanted 4 months ago, then booked the appointment 3 months, he was quite ready to accommodate. We worked the shape and size of tattoo, Then Kevin rocked the install! Kevin is really easy to visit with. And the best tattoo. Thanks Sea of Ink!!

I love Sea of Ink. Every artist is talented so you are sure to find the right artist for you! I go to Kevin. He is so professional and talented. All my leg tattoos are from him. They are perfectly done and more then I ever imagined. The studio is clean and has such a great atmosphere. Book appointments fast as these talented artists book up quickly, and rightfully so! I’ll never see or go anywhere else!

A few years ago I got some work done by Kevin, the owner, and was blown away by his professionalism and how friendly he was. I’d been to a lot of different shops and the vibe at Sea of Ink blew them all away. He communicated super well and was actually able to squeeze in everything that I wanted (even some tiny lettering that I thought for sure wouldn’t be able to get included).

So, when my wife and I were looking to get some new tattoos just recently, Sea of Ink was the only place we wanted to go. This time we worked with Madison, who is such a pleasure to work with and ridiculously talented on top of it. Going to see her feels like going to hang out with a good friend (who can also bang out an incredibly detailed and awesome tattoo in record time). We can’t seem to leave without scheduling another appointment with her because she’s so great!

If you’re looking for a new tattoo studio, save yourself some time and just go to Sea of Ink. They’re the best place out there and my wife and I won’t be going anywhere else. 💜💚

I have gotten multiple tattoos from Kevin at Sea of Ink Tattoos. Every time I have been extremely satisfied with the service, professionalism, attentiveness and overall quality of the tattoo. So much so, that My Wife and Mother have gotten Tattoos there as well. I will continue to go to Kevin at Sea of Ink for any Tattoo that I want in the future and recommend him and his shop to all who have any Tattoo needs as well.

I walked in today for a consultation on a couple of tattoos I wanted and I was lucky enough for Kevin to have a cancellation that day. He was great! He listened to what I wanted and made sure I liked the placement before starting- he made the entire process very easy. I will definitely be back for my next piece. Thanks Kevin!

My boyfriend wanted a specific tattoo so badly, we went to an artist who gave a really weird quote. He wanted a specific character from a video game, a specific size, with specific text. We were told by him that the text wouldn’t be doable at that size, and that the tattoo artist would do “his own spin” on the character, and described something he didn’t want at all. I have tattoos with details tinier than the text he was asking for, this was a doable request. We told the first artist no, and went to Sea Of Ink after our friend recommended them. Kevin was there and he listened to what my boyfriend wanted, was super positive about it, and said it was absolutely doable. He made a few minor adjustments that were super helpful, such as flipping the character to fit the space better and some placement ideas. We signed up to visit him at the AZ Tattoo Expo to get it done, and it was reasonably priced as well. Kevin took his time with the tattoo and was so friendly and fun, very kind to us both and was so nice overall! Highly recommend Sea of Ink, their work is spectacular and they’re so kind.
