Amazing artistry and the most comfortable tattoo place I have ever tried. Friendly and accommodating, Uncle Josh and Antoinette allow you to relax and have great conversation and music while receiving your personal tattoo of choice. Creative artists who bring portraits and pictures alive, making you a walking art masterpiece. I have gotten three tattoos in three months and love all of the results. The price is affordable and I have received excellent results. Uncle Josh even showed up two hours prior to his regular open time to accommodate my schedule. Five stars and if you go anywhere else for tattoo work in Phoenix, maybe you should at least look at what Lost Dutchman has to offer before you commit.

Uncle Josh is the shop owner. He is super nice, not intimidating at all. He is honest and fair. He is more than willing to collaborate on what you want because he wants his customers to be completely satisfied. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with this piece in honor of my mom who passed away a month ago.

I was stressed about getting work done for one of my really good friends that recently committed suicide. I walked into this shop and was automatically welcomed in with open arms. The owner, Josh, did my work and I can honestly say I have never been more pleased with work on my body. Not to mention, he was more than friendly and compassionate. Josh was communicating consistently to make sure I was comfortable and pleased with the work being done. I was able to laugh, be comfortable and shed an authentic tear at the sight of the art on my body for my friend. I would highly recommended this shop to anyone looking for affordable, uniquely detailed work and a respectable environment!

Amazing! I've had work done from Uncle Josh twice now and am always blown away with the work that he does. Any idea that I have, he improves and makes them fit my style. I got my first tattoo in June of 2018. I couldn't be happier! Uncle Josh took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and really captured what I had envisioned. The tattoo is in memory of a friend who had passed, and along with being my first was obviously very special to me. He absolutely nailed it and is so talented; I had a template image with some free-hand modifications he nailed with finesse and with an obvious mastery of his art. I'd recommend Lost Dutchman to anyone; so long as Uncle Josh is around they will produce the highest quality work. Can't wait to see him again for my 1-year touch-up.

recently just got my first tattoo with uncle josh! 5/5 star experience! I browsed other shops before coming here and i gotta say Uncle Josh was able to do my tattoo exactly how i wanted for almost literally half the price the other shops were charging. Great shop and uncle josh was a cool guy to work with!!!

It's a very neat shop what i have met of the staff seemed cool. Got tattooed by saint. Was very happy with her work she's amazing. I will be back again for her to tattoo me that's forsure.

Uncle Josh is the only person I will let touch my skin with the needle. It is not only an amazing artist, but also an amazing guy. I have gladly handed him my money multiple times, for pieces of art that mean the world to me. Is is exceptional with portraits, as well as old school Sailor Jerry style work.

I cannot recommend him enough.

So I woke up today and had no idea I was going to be getting a tattoo. I came Into this shop kinda not really sure if I even wanted one. After talking to Tio Josue (uncle Josh) I was like okay let’s do this! Right off the bat he made me feel super comfortable, He was very honest and helped me find the right size and spot for my tattoo. The whole experience was exactly what I needed today, I got tatted by a super cool guy, we shared some good stories, had a couple laughs and I was very happy w the outcome. I’ll definitely be back for another one! Thank you Josh! I also wanna add, I never do reviews but I just had to on this one :)
