The nearest Tattoo Shop in Mission Beach, we were Voted Best Tattoo Shop and Best Piercing Shop in San Diego. The guys at this place were seriously so nice and cool! I showed my artist a picture of my tattoo, and he made it happen so quickly! All my friends tattoos looks good and we all got them from different people. Definitely would recommend. :)

My bestfriend and I spontaneously decided to get tattoos at the nearest tattoo shop by us and we came across this gem. Josh helped the both of us out and got us in and out of there. We were both so impressed by his work and how gentle his hands were. Absolutely made sure both of us were comfortable and eased our nerves. Would definitely recommend this place as I’m definitely sure to come back to Josh!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND josh! I came here about 2 years ago and got tattooed by Josh for my first. He did such a good job, he's the only person I wanted to tattoo me again. I recently had a baby so I wanted to get her name done. He listened to exactly what I wanted and helped make my vision come true. I highly recommend all the artist at this location especially Josh. They are very efficient and clean. And can draw up anything you like in a little amount of time. They are very well priced. For good work. He was very careful and considerate asking if I was doing okay. And was very very hygienic. This is a picture when it was first completed so still red since then it has healed beautifully! Just don't have an updated picture.

My tat was my son's 18 year old signature, I had his 8 year old signature done 10 years ago in Georgia. So this was a very personal memorial tattoo that I've waited 10 years for! And again, I love it! Thank you so much for your gentleness!

Highly recommend. I walked in while I was in San Diego on a short 2 day trip. They were accommodating and the artist actually drew up my tattoo by hand. Something I don't see as often. Ask for Josh! (But truly, I'm sure the rest of the artists are equally as amazing)

Went in a couple times to this shop. I’ve been tattooed at a fair amount of shops and have a lot of traditional work done. My tattooist Santa Fe has clean consistent lines and even added in some additional filler for me. If you’re looking for a classic traditional shop this is a good spot. I was surprised as well given it is in a tourist area, don’t let that hold you back from your next or first appointment!

Josh is the best! I’ve been to San Diego two times, and have had him do work on me both trips. Everyone at Mission Beach Tattoo creates a great, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. I went more than a year between visits, and Josh remembered everything from where I live to what I do for work. He truly cares about his clients.
