I recently scheduled an appointment with an artist here. We agreed on 450 for a half day. He canceled on me once then months later I got in. He did the work and at the end charged
Me 600 for the half day saying his price increased. Not cool
And too the owner reply he told me the new price after being tattooed. I have 100 dollar deposit months ago on which he canceled our first appointment. That’s when we made the agreement so as of now he only tattooed me 2 hours for 700 dollars. I just wanted the remainder of my time to be payed back and will look somewhere else
Re-edit: owner paid me back half my money so at least I got something back

We were in Denver for vacation and was pleased that we could be fit in for a tattoo. Tino was very professional and kind. He was very aware of what music was playing and would change it (I am a older woman and had my 18 yo niece with me). The shop was very clean. We were very happy with his work. Absolutely recommend Chakra for your tattoo needs.

The owner cares a lot about his business and reputation. He made things right when an artist wasn't representing to the highest standard. Also, we were offered to stop in to have out tattoos fixed at no charge.

Matt Garcia is an amazing artist. He has done multiple tattoos for me and each ones comes out better than I could have ever imagined. His portraits are very detailed! The shop is always clean, welcoming and comfortable. Would never go anywhere else!

My husband and I are in Denver for a few days and decided to get tattoos on a bit of whim. We found Chakra tattoo and called to see if they could get us in. Not only were they super accommodating and fit us both in right then, Tino did incredible work! My husband got a Pitbull tattoo that turned out better than we could’ve imagined and I got a geometric mountain scape that also looks great!! We are both so glad we chose Chakra tattoo and were able to have Tino do our work!

Was in Denver visiting a friend who moved out there. We wanted to get matching lotus flower tattoos on our finger. We called at 4:30pm and spoke to someone about getting an appointment. He tried dissuading us from getting it Saturday 9/26 and told us to come back Sunday. We advised we’d still like to come in as they close at 9. He said okay as long as we got to the shop by 5:15. We show up at 5 and both Tino and the guy we spoke to on the phone start bust out laughing, clearly not happy we actually showed up to our appointment. Tino took my friend and did a great job, was hospitable, and wore a mask. The guy who did me and my other friend’s tattoo was without a mask the ENTIRE time, super rude, and clearly did not want to do our tattoos. He kept trying to talk us out of finger tattoos. He then made one friend, Megan sign a waiver, and neither me nor my friend Ayla had to sign one. The entire time he tattooed me he had no mask and was rude. My tattoo also looks like it’s drawn in pen and looks NOTHING like the picture I showed him. He also told me he couldn’t put it in the spot I wanted (as pictured) because it was “too small”. Lastly, and this is may be the most obscene part, we were charged $100 for this LITTLE tattoo! How absurd! Never going back. He never even told us his name. If you’re in the tattoo game you have to be cooperative and have a damn personality. BEWARE!

I went to Chakra to get my very first tattoo and it was an awesome experience! The two guys who were working that day were super nice, made you feel very comfortable and made sure you had a good experience. I'm extremely picky when it comes to fine line art, and these guys nailed it - the lines were super smooth and I was very impressed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
