Tribal Rites in general has always been an awesome experience. Tonight was probably my 30th time getting tattooed by Christian. He has done all my tattoos over the past 10 years. He is a dedicated artist and its been an honor watching him grow tremendously in his passion for tattooing. Its always a memory and great experience getting tattooed. I would recommend anyone to get work done by him.

Call ahead to ask what I needed to bring for my daughter to get her septum pierced and they said both need IDs. We drove half an hour to get there and the girl that was up front asked for our IDs so we gave them to her and she said that we needed my daughters birth certificate! Keep in mind I did call before I left and told her she was under age. So she wasted my gas my time and my business!!! Very unhappy that this so called business is ran like this. I have had many friends and family recommended them and now I will let everyone know that they should go elsewhere. Thanks a lot 😏

5 stars for being a true tattoo shop, taking walk ins and being so good and passionate about what you do to draw up a tat on the spot. What I wanted was simple lettering and I got art! Something several other places couldn’t comply with. Life is not always planned and neither were tats back in the day. You want one, go find a dude and get it. I had a great experience at tribal rites. Jordy was very fun. He make you feel very comfortable and explains everything as he goes. He was super quick. I love my nose piercing and I will definitely go there again.

I was totally blown away by this place. The staff there was completely wonderful, and after three years of searching for the right place and artist, I have found it. I am so excited about getting my tattoo here next month. UPDATE!!! Lost the artist after booking 2nd appt, situation seemed a bit off, had my appt cancelled w/in a weeks time. Not really great communication, kinda felt like my patronage didn't matter. Didn't get a reschedule with another artist, didn't get an apology, and honestly it felt like there may have been some conflict in-house. 😕

Wonderful, clean atmosphere and (mostly) friendly people, my tongue piercing went without a hitch and I'd go back again for piercings or tattoos. My one and only complaint is they keep selling me guages one size up. I went in with 00 guages and they measured twice and swore they were 7/16, so I bought size 7/16. They were a little big but not much so I pushed them in. I bought more 7/16s elsewhere and they were even bigger but I stretched anyway since my 00s were now too loose. The next time I went in they measured again with two or maybe three different tools and swore I was half inch. I wanted a stone they didn't have and they special ordered in half inch for me. Again I had to stretch for them and now I'm two sizes bigger than I'd like to be, my ear blew out, and I can't wear any of my previous collection. Time to start a new collection due to the entire staff's inability to measure guages correctly.

When I was first looking into getting a tattoo most people I talked to told me to go to Tribal Rites and after some research, I found myself at Nate's chair completely comfortable and ready to tell him what I wanted. A week later I had my first tattoo! He also did my second tattoo and I couldn't love them more! Thank you Nate for being so supportive and just all around amazing! Much love for this shop!

I came in for a quick ying yang symbol with my cousin to celebrate the passing of our friend on nov 9th and wow this place was amazing excellent staff and a very clean work environment. I would highly reccomend if you are looking for any sort of tattoo work in the Longmont or colorado area hit up tribal rights and ask for Mason Alexander this guy made my first tattoo experience an absolute blast I look forward to going back for more of his work the lettering he did for my cousins tattoo was crazy cool and I'm just trying to decide what to get from them next. The staff are highly knowledgeable and qualified the only sad thing was having to leave the store and wait to go to back for more! My yin yang on my arm came out abousolutly solid all thanks to Mason this guy deserves a raise or at least some recognition for all his hard work he really knows how to treat customers and make it a very memorable time. 10/10 would definitely go again very affordable.
