Metamorphosis Tattoo Studio and Art Gallery

My experience was great! The owner, Serina did an amazing job. Clean shop, great environment, great shading and color work. Serina was great at working around my schedule since I was coming out of town! Definitely my favorite tattoo!

I got a tattoo from the lovely and talented Miss Serina Malec. The consultation was very easy and productive. I could tell she was very passionate and enthusiastic about the subject matter and tattooing in general.

When I arrived at the shop I could smell how clean it was. It really was outstanding. The general vibe was very relaxed and calm.

My piece took several sessions to complete. During that time I met almost all of the staff there. Shy, Carly, Tina, Avery, and Ramon (I didn't meet Shelby,) introduced themselves. They were all very polite and seemed genuinely interested in what each other was working on. Everyone was very kind and respectful and they all seem like good people. It was a very welcoming experience.

Throughout the actual tattooing process Serina was very cognizant of my needs. She always checked in to see if I needed a break, and was very accommodating in general. As I was being tattooed other members of the staff would swing by to see what she was working on and they were all very supportive and complimentary to me, as a customer, and to Serina as a fellow artist.

Serina also checked in with me during healing times to let me know if she had some surprise availability to work on my piece sooner than what we had booked so we could make adjustments to better accommodate each other's schedules.

The quality of the tattoo I received greatly exceeded my expectations. When I saw the design that she made for me I literally thought, "This can't be mine. This is too amazing. It's just incredible." I was honestly speechless. The linework is so clean and precise that it looks like it could have been a sticker or that she just magically rolled it on my skin. The colors are very bold and vibrant. She also incorporated some of my ideas from the consult into the piece. This made me fell very "heard" and respected as a client.

Overall I could not be happier with my experience here. I strongly encourage anyone interested in getting a tattoo here to go ahead and get the process started. You won't be disappointed.

i had an appointment with tyney and oh my god i was so pleased. i have yet to finish my second session but the line work is incredible and she was very intent on making sure it looked perfect! so happy w my tattoo and so excited to finish it up :)

This place is fantastic. Between the amazingly friendly and welcoming staff to the cozy and comfortable setting. Serina operates a top notch shop and I couldn't recommend them for anything less than fastic work. This is where you want your art crafted

Came to Serina just around a year ago! Started with a forearm piece and now we are 3/4 way through an awesome sleeve. I contacted her during a prominent time in the pandemic and she took every safety precaution necessary, above and beyond! Her shop has an awesome environment, its very relaxing and she makes it easy to sit for hours and hours. If my parent(s) wanted a tattoo I would send them her way! She is amazingly talented, so happy I found such a great artist/owner. Worth the seven hour drive every-time!

Shy is a real life goddess!!!! She did a beyond amazing job on my two leg tattoos and completely blew me out of the water with how they came out! Her style allowed her to create the perfect design for me which I never could’ve dreamed of in the first place! If you are in Colorado and looking for a tattoo I would 1000% recommend making your way over to see Shy, she’s more than worth it!

Great atmosphere, great staff. I always go and visit Shelby (see attached picture for her work!). They have very reasonable rates, one might even say it’s a steal for the quality. There are few other places I would trust to put something on my body permanently.

This is such a beautiful little shop that exudes good vibes and a cleanly atmosphere. I have the HONOR of having TWO pieces done by the one and only Shylan Vance and they are the tattoos I receive the most compliments about!!! Shy is so sweet; she makes sure that her clients are comfortable during process & satisfied with the pieces they are getting (I always have a hard time deciding exact placement & she does not seem to mind the many stencil re-dos!!). I have recommended this shop to many of my acquaintances and will continue to do so!

Shy was such a great tattoo artist to work with! I got my shin done and she created a super welcoming, chill environment. Amazing art and amazing vibes! I'm already brainstorming for my other shin so I can come back
