It was my first time getting a tattoo and the tattoo attest was very professional. He worked very diligently and kept conversation to distract me. His watercoloring was pretty and I have gotten lots of compliments on the coloring of my tattoo. He was very patient and didn't seem annoyed if I asked him a question regarding the tattoo. Overall really good experience and I would recommend to others.

Derek is an amazing artist. He has every aspect of the tattoo business on lock! His shop is super clean and his equipment is well maintained. He always opens new needles in front of each client, ensuring that he is using sterile equipment each time.
I've now had three pieces done and I'll be back for more! I've already scheduled to fill in my cardinal sleeve. I can't stress how important it is to keep one artist for the sake of consistency and I absolutely love Derek's style and artistic capabilities.
He's so very talented and surprisingly fast without compromising quality. Each time, I've been shocked at how little he has charged for each piece. But, I've been so happy with them all as they are tributes to family members, that I have been sure to tip well. (Tip your artist!) Derek is definitely MY artist!

Very understanding and helpful for first timers. Fairly priced from what I've heard, as I haven't gone to anyone else. He's definitely worth it. I went for a second time and plan to go back for more. Excellent work, good conversation, He was able to keep a steady hand while I squirmed. I noticed that when he would work in a very tender spot he would do it in small spurts in attempt to maximize comfort without compromising the product. Best of Pueblo.
