Trilogy Atelier - DC Tattoo Shop / Art Studio

My boyfriend and I were both tattooed by Dedo, a guest international artist who is just all around INCREDIBLE. We got our dog portrait on us and words can’t describe how happy we are. We are blown away over how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere and aesthetic is totally different than your average tattoo shop which was so refreshing. The friendliness, professionalism and cleanliness of this place went above and beyond our expectations. We will be recommending all of our friends and family to check out this gem in DC! A gem in the heart of Columbia Heights. Love this place! Ive gotten 3 tattoos already. 1 by appointment by one of their guest artists and 2 by walk-ins by their resident artists.

The space is beautiful. Open. Lots of sun. Love their plants. They’re all professionals, hospitable and accommodating.

I booked with Trilogy Atelier for my first arm piece and second tattoo. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn’t 100% set on anything quite yet. Originally I booked with Faith, and went back and forth with her on a design- she was very responsive and took my considerations into account. Faith ended up leaving the shop, and the staff at Trilogy made it super easy to find a new artist and get my design figured out. I ended up getting tattooed by Fabio. The studio is very well decorated and clean, and all staff were very friendly. My tattoo took the expected time, and honestly blew away all my expectations- it genuinely looks so good. After, they fixed me up with aftercare instructions and second skin. Would 100% recommend this shop!!

Absolutely fantastic new local tattoo shop! The space was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I booked with a guest artist (Gee) and the process was super easy and smooth. Highly recommend! They took my Fallout idea and made it into an incredible work of art. Attached picture is a couple months healed. I will definitely be coming back.

Loved the vibe and overall experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The communication was key to the experience - from tattoo submission, consultation and to the actual appointment the staff was organized and there to answer any questions I had. My artist was Lola and she did an incredible job - the quality was top notch but best of all her hands moved quickly which minimized the pain along my ribcage and she made sure I was comfortable and took breaks as necessary. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Super thrilled with the results :) For context I had a fine line tattoo along my breast line around the chest towards the shoulder took roughly 4 hrs.

Great Shop. Super professional and friendly. the artists and staff were both extremely helpful and accommodating. When I had an issue with payment the staff went above and beyond after hours to resolve it. I have gotten 2 tattoos here so far and will definitely be coming back again. Im looking forward to the art gallery events! Certainly going to call Tony at the desk and schedule another tattoo with Fabio! Great overall. Good people and killer music for your tattoo! I cannot wait Until the gallery opens up for events!!

I had such a great experience here! I got a floral tattoo from Lola, and she was incredible -- super nice and friendly, really great to work with, and so so talented! I'm so thrilled with the design she came up with for me; I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted my tattoo to look like and how I wanted the placement to work, and Lola came up with the perfect idea. The atmosphere in the whole shop was super welcoming and clean, and everyone I interacted with was awesome. I'm so glad I found this place, I'll definitely make another appointment at some point!!

I came to Trilogy for my first tattoo and had a great experience! The shop was really clean and welcoming, and the staff made it so easy to make an appointment. Fabio was the artist working with me, and he was really great at helping me decide exactly what I was looking for. The process itself was very smooth, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The tattoo is beautiful and detailed, and I would highly recommend Fabio and Trilogy.

My experience at this shop was amazing. It was ver professional and welcoming. I got a tattoo done by Lola and her work is amazing! We ended up having to change the design to work with my existing tattoos and she was extremely knowledge and helpful through the whole process. Got my long awaited tattoo done by David! Whole experience was lovely and so accommodating. He went out of his way to make my tattoo happen for me the day that I needed it done before going home for the holidays. Not only that, but the space was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. I have gotten a few pieces done before, but if I were a first timer, this place would have eased my worries. Desk assistant (I forget his name haha) was just as sweet and genuine. Will be coming back again for sure!
