Tattoos and Scars Saloon: A Classic-Rock Haven in Key West
If you're looking for a classic-rock bar with a lively atmosphere, Tattoos and Scars Saloon is the place to be. Located in the heart of Key West, this watering hole is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
The bar boasts a roadhouse decor that perfectly complements its classic-rock playlist. The music is always loud, so if you're looking for a quiet night out, this may not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for some great tunes and a buzzing late-night scene, Tattoos and Scars Saloon is the perfect spot.
The bar is open seven days a week, from noon until 4:00 am, so you can stop by any time of day or night. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bar has a wide selection of drinks, so you're sure to find something to suit your taste.
One of the unique features of Tattoos and Scars Saloon is the old BSA hanging from the ceiling. It's a great conversation starter and adds to the bar's overall charm.
The bar has a small courtyard where you can hang out and enjoy your drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day.
Overall, Tattoos and Scars Saloon is a great bar for anyone looking for a lively atmosphere, great music, and friendly service. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Overall, this is a very cool bar. Great decor,, great music and Tito's on tap! But! Visitors beware! Your experiences will vary. My friends and I are veteran travelers to Key West. Key West is by far the best, most friendly and eclectic place we choose to visit multiple times a year. We've been to Tattoos & Scars several times and have learned a couple of things about the bar's dynamics. If you stay within the lines and keep your interactions to the regular local faire of drinks, all will be good, Step outside the lines and ask for anything unusual, be prepared to receive less than acceptable service. In other words, we've learned not to engage with staff unless it's for the usual round of drinks. Should you step wrongly, don't bother voicing your complaint. Don't expect the above-and-beyond you might experience elsewhere. The staff doesn't handle criticism well.
Update 12/2 - Hey Casey, I'd love to share my experiences, however, there isn't a way to contact you other than to update here.

Lindsey and Dylan are fantastic - bar has a great local but lively vibe, awesome music choices, and great atmosphere. That it is off Duval is a major plus.

Not a tourist trap. Cool decor and great service. Lower prices than most bars in Key West.

Always a good spot to graba drink, listen to some good music and maybe shoot some pool or play a game of virtual golf.
Staff is always great and take care of customers well. Don't forget you're in the islands so if it takes a second longer than you're used to just chill and take a deep breathe of the calming sea air.

Great atmosphere, great happy hour prices. However bartender seemed more interested in talking than serving. Overall a great place.
