Came here for my first tattoo to get some self harm/surgical scars covered up. Richard worked with me to get my idea just right, didn't mind making changes as needed and had an extremely light hand, my tattoo is healing beautifully and hasn't even scabbed! Everyone here is extremely professional and kind and the shop is clean and has a very cozy welcoming feel. Richard was extremely accommodating of my service dog and let me come in early to ensure the area was clean for other clients once I left, he also let me take as many breaks as I needed for such a long tattoo. I couldn't have had a better experience, this is THE place to go! Thanks so much guys! <3

Love this place. Great atmosphere and terrific artists. The plaza has frequent events going on where you can see more art and enjoy a nice night out. The back of the plaza is beautiful with a mural spanning across the entire length of it. Kevin is my artist and has been for years and I'd recommend any of the other artists at Ivy and Oak.

Totally awesome, ridiculously quick in and out (like 15 mins max!), super friendly staff, and really clean place! Piercing didn't hurt at all! I'm totally going to come back next time I get a piercing or for my first tattoo I'm planning to get eventually! Thanks guys!

I’ve had two tattoos done here so far, got my first one there as well. Both with Mark best experience ever! So profesional and the works of art I’ve walked out of there with really show how talented and skilled Mark is at hos job, the shop also so good looking and clean and has a great vibe to it as soon as you walk through the door its not intimidating or dirty and unkept and you can tell everyone in there is in it for the passion of creating art not for some quick cash, can’t wait to get more work done soon!
PS. The prices can’t be beat for the art work you receive worth EVERY penny for something I’ll be carrying around with me for the rest of my life.

Was very dissatisfied by my experience. I have many tattoos on my body and have used many different artists. When speaking to Gavin, an artist at this shop I told him about an idea that I had for a big piece on my back. It is very unique and was hoping he would draw a quick rough draft just to see if we were on the same page. I was told that I would have to pay a deposit before he would draw anything. Which I suppose in the artist world does make sense when someone spends time on something. But after already having work done by him and my eagerness to get the work done that it might be a good investment seeing is that it was going to be a large piece that will be on my body forever. Not only being rude over text, but then posting on social media a picture of the definition of deposit. Knowing that I follow him and knowing that I would see it feels like a big slap in the face. Guess things happen for a reason because I would never want to support or trust in someone with something so important who behaves like this.
