Nemo's Tattoo Studio

Nemo came up with a awesome idea for my cover up and Rob took it pounded out the dents and turned it into a masterpiece. Can't even see my old tattoo. I highly recommend Nemos tattoos to everyone. Thank you very much and great job guys.

The experience was amazing. Nemo took really good care of me and made it such a good experience we joked and talked just absolutely fantastic and the line work and shading was superb definitely recommend whenever someone wants a tattoo Nemo is your guy.

On May 23rd, I stopped into the studio to see Ron McVicar so that I could schedule a tattoo. I paid a $60 deposit and told him what I wanted. He text me a design but it really wasn’t what I was looking for so I sent references of what I would like. I asked if he wanted me to come in to discuss what I liked, but he said it wasn’t necessary. He sent me another photo but I didn’t particularly like the design or the background. I didn’t like the placement either which Is something that i had told him the first time. I asked if maybe we should do a diff tattoo somewhere else on my body since that one wasn’t working out. He then informed me via text that because he did the designs that I could not get a tattoo (the one that I originally wanted or a diff one). I would of preferred it if he just copied one from the references I sent. In any case, this was never discussed beforehand, I didn’t sign anything stating that I wa paying for the design. It was to hold my spot which was what was originally told to me in person. The $60 was to go towards my tattoo of an hourly rate. The reason I want my money back is because I never would of left the deposit for a design, especially one I don’t like. It’s bad business practice to take someone’s money then say sorry your out of luck but I am keeping your deposit. I was told That i don’t get a tattoo but that I can have the designs. Rob would rather just kept my money & not give me any tattoo which is horrible. I have multiple tattoos and have never had this problem with any of the tattoo artists. I now have to go to small claims court to get my money back.

After lots of research online, I had decided to schedule a consult appointment with Ron as I really liked his work that I saw. I showed up about 5 min early for my appointment and he was already gone. Nobody seemed to know anything or have any kind of scheduling system they could even check.
Needless to say, this is all extremely unprofessional and he lost a new client. I would not recommend as he is clearly unreliable and the shop is run in a very disorganized manner.
Side note... They also allow kids to hang around and wait which is kind of a distraction.

I feel lucky to have had Ron do my coverup. He put so much detail into my tattoo and I am so thankful that I found the right artist to make my leg beautiful again! 😊😊😊

Nemo is an outstanding tattoo artist. The shop is clean with a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend him and his shop for your tattooing needs!

Nice place. Ron designed my tattoo.i wanted cherry blossoms going up my arm to look like the iguana was sitting on the branch. The iguana which was done in New York about 20 years ago was getting dull so Ron touched him up. Came out great.
