I've had 7 of my 9 tattoos done here and there's a reason why I keep going back, quality! Yes I've had different artists each time but the quality of the products that they use is incredible! I have wrists and top of feet tattoos which can fade but I feel for the number of years I've had mine they are still in good condition and have held the ink well. Being in Florida I am constantly in the sun as well! Isobel did a hand drawn cover up for me as I needed a visual of how exactly the cover up was going to over shadow the other and I was pleased and only I notice what was there before (I haven't been back for any touch ups) all in all I recommend the shop and the artists!

This place was amazing, I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and Julio made it more then I could dream of with so much detail and vibrant colors.. I will not go anywhere else for my tattoos. If your wanting great friendly people and a great tattoo then this is your place. Thank you guys for an awesome experience.

Isabel really messed up my tattoo will never go back and she is extremely rude she thinks 30 years of experience makes a difference she can't own up to her own mistakes

Isobel was awesome. I have been to a few different tattoo places and i must say Ancient Art is by far the best. Great People. The shop oozes with pure talent. Will never let any shop tattoo my skin but Ancient Art.

In response to the negative review here: I've had Jeff and Cindy guest artist in our studio many times and their talent and skills are beyond reproach. Jeff is a retired fire rescue and Cindy has a medical background...they understand the importance of clean technique and practice it in every tattoo they do.
NO studio of quality will send any design, custom or not, out via email. We all have been burned so many times it is just not done.
Ancient Art has been in Ft Meyers for many many years for a reason, QUALITY.

I had been considering my first tattoo for a long time. When I went into Ancient Art and met with Cindy I was immediately comfortable with her. Cindy was very professional, did not rush through the piece and did a quality job. I love my new tattoo and will definitely be back to see Cindy soon for another one!

Wow! The negative review on here got personal! Not nice.....
I waited to get my first tattoo until I was 51. I am a germaphobe and very particular. I will not get another tattoo unless it is from either Jeff or Cindy Groom. The professionalism and care were beyond my expectations. Did I mention I'm particular?

Went to Ancient Art to get a cover-up tattoo, spoke with Jeff who was outside at the time smoking. He was not very helpful in suggesting what would cover my tattoo. After looking through various books I found something that I liked but need a slight sizing adjustment, Jeff said if I put down a $40 cash deposit with no receipt, he said he would make the adjustment to the design. One half hour later, Jeff called back and said it was done. I wasn't able to make the half hour trip back to the shop so I asked him to email me the change to which he refused. I asked him why since I had paid for the artwork change and his reply was "it's store policy" First of all, Jeff "stunk" of stale cigarette smoke, it was absolutely disgusting, very poor hygiene and his wife was even worse. I wouldn't let Jeff or his wife tattoo my dog!! I have no other interaction with anyone else in the shop, ( I have heard good things about Isibelle though) Very disappointed with my experience.

This shop is the place to be. Clean, Professional and once again CLEAN. Isobel is nothing short of a rock star. Her ability to harness the intricacies of my existence, and literally, with great detail and finesse, masterfully bring my thoughts to life is uncanny. This woman gets it.
