I made an appointment for a nostril piercing with Safari as a birthday present. I arrived with two people accompanying me. We waited about 15 minutes and it turned out that there was an appointment issue on their side so because of this, Safari apologized and took it upon himself to refund the cost of the piercing.

The facility itself seemed very clean and the back area was private with curtains for each "room". Safari mentioned that he is vaccinated, and invited my brother & friend to come back and watch the piercing process.

As soon as I sat down, Safari initially asked if I had eaten anything that morning, concerned for my blood sugar, because this was a big reason why people pass out after the procedure. I was misinformed and read elsewhere that I wasn't supposed to eat before the procedure, so I mentioned I didn't. Safari then gave me a root beer and made sure I drank a good amount of it to prevent me from going into shock after the piercing. He explained it all very clearly and made me feel very safe under his care. He made sure to put on new gloves, a new mask, and had sterile tools. He made the marking with a marker, I picked out the jewelry, and I was satisfied with the prep. There was no time for me to build up anxiety! I sat back down, closed my eyes, he said "all right here we go" and I felt the needle go through. It was as expected, it hurt for a moment and my eyes watered. After he put in the piercing and took the needle out, he told me to squeeze his arm as hard as I could to determine whether or not I would faint/go into shock. I was fine!

Safari provided me with a free sterile saline spray and a comprehensive brochure with steps on how to clean, what to do and not to do, and made sure to let me know that if I have any problems to call them and let them know.

My overall experience was great. Safari is a charismatic and genuine guy who will make you feel safe and welcome in his care. I highly recommend going here for any of your piercing needs. I will 100% definitely be back to get my other nostril pierced in the future.

I had a great experience getting my septum pierced here. I came in without an appointment and was seen instantly. All of the supplies used were clean and sterile. The piercer even went the extra mile and changed the piece of jewelry for me without a problem after I complained that I didn’t like the first piece.

I have been to this shop twice. The first time was amazing, the second.. not so much. Don’t get me wrong, they do QUALITY work here but the customer service is not up to par. My sister was getting a piece done and we came in with an initial idea but it wasn’t looking how we envisioned when it was actually drawn out, so we changed designs. I think this bothered the artist a bit because she has to begin drawing something else.

Once we got a design that she was happy with the artist placed it on my sister and I commented that it would be upside down if she moved her arm a certain way. This also bothered the tattoo artist and she began giving me attitude asking me where how I would like it placed. I’m sorry but we’re going to have it placed how we want since it is a permanent design going onto my sister’s body.

This was all after being quoted one price and then having the manager walk in yelling that we were quoted too low, and that we would have to pay the difference.

got 3 piercings nose,industrial, and vch. safari did a great job with placement and explained every detail while piercing. very professional and clean place. visited several places before this on and was uncomfortable letting piercer pierce my private areas but blackink had a zero tolerance for privacy and piercer safari was very respectful, private and professional will return and recommend

Man this place was thee absolute best. The reggaton music set the perfect vibe. Savannah was super friendly she hand sketched references at lightening speed , she was super funny and she made my rest in piece tattoo a memorable and fun experience when I thought my day would be otherwise .

Safari was incredibly pleasant and professional and made me feel very comfortable. He did an amazing job on my verticle labret and I will definitely be visiting again soon! 😊

Went and got my septum pierced today. Looks awesome!! Safari was my piercing professional and he took excellent care of me.Very professional, clean, and friendly. Everyone greeted me very pleasantly. I accompanied my daughter to get a septum piercing. We were greeted promptly as we entered the studio and the receptionist moved us through the paperwork and payment quickly. The pricing is fair. Safari was my daughter's piercer. He answered our questions thoroughly regarding the process, the type of piercing materials used, and the cleaning and care of the piercing. Safari did a fine job of providing a clean and painless piercing. He has a great personality, and keeps everyone calm and informed along the way. The whole experience went smoothly and quickly. Black Ink implements excellent safe and sanitary standards in terms of their regular operations, as well as COVID. Safari is a true professional. I've visited several tattoo/piercing studios throughout the country, and I appreciate the level of professionalism and quality service we received, and the great experience Safari provided for my young lady.
