Enigma Ink Tattoo

I was extremely nervous for my first tattoo. However, I was more than happy with my experience here! Garry helped me feel super comfortable and there's nobody else in town that I'd want to go to. My tattoo was almost absolutely painless! I will definitely be returning.

This was my stepdaughter's, Alexandra's, first tattoo . Her experience was incredible. Garry, her artist, made her feel comfortable and his artistry is amazing! The entire staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. She will definitley be back in the furture.

I know that I will get backlash from the shop for this reveiw but I don't care. I waited an entire month for my appointment with Gary, one day before it was supposed to happen he leaves me a voicemail stating that he is ill. Now in this month long wait I never received a picture of the drawing, questions about the tattoo, nothing to encourage me that progress was being made. I called a week before the appointment to ensure he had my correct number. In my opinion he didn't even draw it up and he strung me along to the very end. I will not be going here for any further work, nor will any of my other 5 family member seeking many new tattoos.

I've had work done here multiple times and this shop never disappoints, and is and will continue to be my go to place for tattoos. Garry always does an amazing job of making your piece come to life. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing some art!

In my opinion this is the only place to go to to get any ink work or piercing done in the Tampa Bay area. I've gotten 5 pieces done here adding up to about 10 hours of work at this point and plan to have as may more as I possibly can done here. All of my work has been done by Garry, who I feel is one of the best artist in the State and has not only raw skill and talent but is incredibly eclectic in different styles of tattoo work he can do. On top of all that every experience I've had at his shop has been some of the best I've had anywhere, and through the several sessions I've had and the many others I've been to from bringing in friends and family to have work done by Garry, he has become one of my best friends. For anyone reading this I only hope this can serve as a testimen as to the quality and the experience they expect to have coming to Enigma Ink.

I phoned ahead to speak with Garry about the piercings I wanted. Questions regarding the actual procedure, after care, healing time, etc. He answered all my questions, advised me how best to prepare for my appointment and scheduled me for the following evening. I arrived a few minutes early, was greeted and given the paperwork that needed to be completed prior to any procedure. Within a minute of completing the paperwork, Garry came out and introduced himself and took us back to his work area. He reviewed with us all we had gone over the night before, asked if I had any new questions, explained what was going to happen and within a few minutes my piercings were done in a courteous and professional manner. I have nothing other to say than Thank you Garry for your professionalism.

Last week I went to Enigma Ink to get my first tattoo. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the place so I figured I’d check them out. Anthony did a sloth tattoo on my forearm and did an extraordinary job. Even my mom who didn’t initially approve the tattoo thought he did an awesome job with detail and making it look like art. The work he did honestly looks 100 times better than the picture I had previously showed him. I highly recommend Enigma to anyone looking to get a tattoo😊. ~Maria

I would highly recommend this shop for all your tattoo and piercing needs, the owner Gary Deronda has been my go to artist for all my tattoo and piercing needs, when I first went into Enigma Inks doors about 7 years ago I was immediately treated like family and have been ever since, Gary and his wife Kim have put together the cleanest most talented and family friendly shop in the area(possibly ever). His work is truly beautiful from American traditional to water color and everything in between his talent is professional, detailed and perfect. The talents don’t just stop there, with his team Shane Walker, Anthony Marques and Close, you are always going to be treated with respect and like family as well as getting the best quality tattoo possible.
