UNABLE/UNWILLING TO COVER SCARS!!!
The reply below from Chicago is just another way to disregard my review.
Did you ever meet someone that was able to beat your self esteem? The gentleman that I meet in this studio is the very first tattoo artist that looked my back (I have some acne scars in this area) and basically told me that due to my scars the ideal would not do tattoo.
What he didn’t know is he recently just did a cover up in one of my friends (she had similar scars) and she didn’t received the same lecture.
I stepped in the studio with all the excitement in the world for my tattoo project and left feeling horrible about myself.
Thank god he wasn’t the only artist that I was consulting and I have my upcoming tattoo already schedule soon with someone else, that didn’t find any problems tattooing on my back and cover my scars.

Super inviting staff and the atmosphere is very welcoming. They take great care of you before you even step in the door. They're very good at the COVID-19 precautions, like immediately washing your hands as you enter. Consultation was great and staff is very knowledgeable. Lower Caps was my artist, and I asked about getting something off their flash on Instagram (@lower.caps). They were super nice and took their time making sure I was comfortable while doing their best work. I'm SO in love with what I got, and I highly recommend! Hope to be back soon.

After having some trouble with a tattoo artist leaving, Fred and the shop gave me such an unforgettable experience making sure I had a booking set for my tattoo. Such a beautiful tattoo and an amazing time with Fred. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely a safe and talented space.

Had the best experience getting my first tattoo here. The place is spotless and probably the most pleasant studio I’ve been to. The staff is super friendly and Norb did such beautiful work on a very special tattoo that I have been wanting to get for years in remembrance of my brother. It took me a while to finally trust and choose an artist for this tattoo and I couldn’t have asked for a better one!

My wife and i wanted to do a spontaneous Tattoo trip [ not our first tattoos lol] on a Saturday mind you. We Walked in with our baby and they welcomed us with open arms they drew up our ideas and straight killed it. This will be my spot to get tattoos from now on. Obviously i will make a appointment going forward .

I walked in for a quick tattoo of handwriting I’d had written for me by my favorite band and was extremely excited for my first tattoo. Because it was a walk-in on a Saturday, it was a bit busy, as expected. I think I waited for about 2 hours but it was well worth the wait—not to mention the waiting room was comfortable and had a nice vibe to it. I approached Fred with my idea and he immediately went and drew the perfect mock-up of it. I asked for one simple addition and it was ready to go. My mom wanted to get her first tattoo as well and showed her idea for a detailed design she wanted done in an extremely small manner. Fred honestly told her that such a small design would become blurred and obstructed over time. He drew up a design and my mom was stunned! I went first and my tattoo was done in under 15 minutes. It’s PERFECT. I couldn’t be happier. My mom is extremely happy as well. Thank you all so much!! I will definitely be coming back.
