Walked in as a ink virgin, all of the staff were great! Thanks Darryl for the great job and answering all my deluge of questions. The clientele were great too very diverse! I won't be going anywhere else

While I personally have not had any work done at Liberty, I took a friend of mine there and was treated great.
Everyone was professional and clean. The atmosphere is great as well.
My friend was satisfied with how quick and professional they were with him.
He even told me that he would go there from now on.
I will soon be getting some work done here as well.

Chuck did an amazing job on my mother in law, my sister and myself! We all got nose piercings and we were very satisfied!

I searched around for months looking for the best tattoo shop in Atlanta. I found Liberty Ink online through reviews. After looking at the website and going in to the shop, I decided that I wanted Ben Thomas to be my tattoo artist. The first sign that I wasn't going to have a good experience should have been how rude Ben came across. He wasn't the nicest guy but I decided to proceed anyway. He was suppose to be one of the best in town. Before I left the shop, I set up an appointment for a week from that date. I placed a $50 deposit and Ben told me that he would sketch an idea for me. Almost a week went by and I still haven't heard from Ben. He took my deposit and never produced a sketch. He contacted me the day before telling me that he had issues with his phone. At this point I wanted my money back. I made it clear to him that I would be leaving Atlanta for months and I needed to get it done before I left. I contacted him several times and the appoint was the following day. I finally got a text back but I hadn't seen the sketch. He was rude when I asked for my money back and he told me that I paid for the time not whether or not he produced a sketch. He was extremely unprofessional and he robbed me of $50. I will never go back to Liberty tattoo.

My sister and I went in tonight and had a specific budget. These guys were so accommodating in working within what we wanted and could afford. They did a phenomenal job on the tattoos themselves. We went to another place close by, waited a while for a quote and they were not willing to compromise on anything. I would definitely recommend Liberty to anyone wanting a tattoo in that area.

Me and my husband stopped by because he wanted a tattoo for his birthday and heard good things from a friend of ours. Prior to stopping in, my husband emailed a few ideas and was told "no problem, come on in and we will draw it up." He spoke with a nice girl at the desk who informed him the artist Tad was available and brought him out to discuss a tattoo. Immediately, Tad appeared annoyed and dismissive like his time was being wasted. My husband informed him he's a graphic designer and because he always designs for others, he wanted someone to design for him. Tad basically refused to draw anything and said it would be a waste of time to go back and forth when he is an artist and can do it himself. Tad told him to come back after he figures out what he really wants, even though he already knew, which is why he sent pictures prior to the visit. He said the owner would be in later and he could maybe do it instead if we came back. My husband also mentioned he's new to the whole tattoo thing and Tad's agitated response was "yeah, I caught that". He was dismissive, cold, and absent from his job. We went somewhere else immediately after that visit and met very willing artists who care about customers. We will be back there soon for more. Don't go to Liberty Tattoo and definitely don't see Tad. Going to them was a waste of time and they need better customer service.

i had an amazing experience at liberty tattoo. clean and professional and every artist there is amazing. i got tattooed by Ben Thomas who does some of the best work i have ever seen. i had a rough time getting my shin tattooed, i was in a lot of pain and being a crybaby, but Ben never gave me a hard time and made me feel as comfortable as possible and gave me a shoulder to cry on. a truly beautiful man, and amazing artist. i am saving large parts of my body for Ben Thomas and cant wait untill he tattoos me again.

My friend and I had the BEST experience at Liberty! Really cool shop, friendly staff, and our tattoos are gorgeous. Tad is hilarious and super talented.

Have been to Liberty twice with a friend to be pierced by Elliott. Had great, calm experiences both times. Elliott is wonderful and so are the other workers. We were nervous before both piercings but Elliott helped us feel much more calm. Liberty is clean, retro-looking, and overall one of the best tattoo/piercing places in Atlanta.

The only tattoo shop I will go to. Rachel Anne is my go to, but the other artists are great too. Very clean shop. The artists are all very professional and I have great conversations when I'm there. And I love the music they play, too. Highly recommend coming here for all your tattoos and piercings!
