I tried emailing to see if an artist would do my tattoos, and after exchanging one email with them sending in my references and places I wanted them, they never emailed me back. I waited because I thought it was just busy and followed up with another email a couple days later. A week passes and they still haven’t emailed me back. I ended up booking an appointment at another place, but I was disappointed because I heard very highly of Sink or Swim and really wanted to try it out. Maybe I’ll try again later, but I hope the service gets better.

Took my 6 yo to have her ears pierced. Chris was AMAZING and engaging. Talked her through EVERY step and deftly distracted her during the actual piercing. It was the perfect experience and I 100% recommend him for all your piercing needs!

The guy at the front desk, Briston, I believe his name was was very rude. He made multiple rude comments for no reason when I am a paying customer. It was very unacceptable. It felt as if I was being rushed out of the store. I hope they get a new front desk employee. On the bright side, I’ve been to sink or swim multiple times before and I love the lady who did my piercings she is great, very helpful and makes you feel very comfortable.

I came in to get my dream sleeve started with Rob Thomas. I had trouble explaining exactly what I wanted but Rob was able to bring my vision to life. He did an amazing job and I am totally obsessed with the outcome! Anyone looking to get some sleeve action, book with Rob, without hesitation! He’s by far one of the best! I’m definitely looking forward to returning soon to finish my sleeve!

My tattoo artist Richard was cool and pleasant to work with; however, front desk guy made it feel like some kind of scam. For example, I was led to believe that I would not be charged a ridiculous price for two small tattoos that took less than 30 minutes, but when it’s time to pay- it was a different story. I should have rethought going through with the process simply because he wouldn’t give me a set price based on the tats. My bad... sometimes convenience isn’t the best choice.

Had an okay tattoo experience here, but do not come here for naval piercings! I was given a crooked piercing by April that is still struggling to heal months later. Very disappointed that I didn’t see another piercer instead.

When I first walked in to Sink or Swim I had high hopes and expectations. I was sorely disappointed to find that the front desk attendant and the artist I met with were not only rude, but MISOGYNISTIC. The front desk attendant kept referring to all the women in the shop as “young ladies”, once is appropriate but repetitiveness is unprofessional. People do have names and there are other nouns to be called.
This would have been my first tattoo sure, but as a henna artist myself and person with multiple piercings I know how this game works. The price seemed steep for a relatively small piece. And I was told over and over again the same information as though I was too dense to receive it. I am a smart person, smart enough to tell you not to get your tattoo done here!
