Being tattooed by Kelly Borders at Honor & Grace is an exceptional experience. Having been to several other shops and tattooed by others, both Kelly, and Honor & Grace are standouts.
Honor & Grace as a space is above all clean and inviting. The front area was comfortable to hangout and wait in. The tattoo area was setup in a way that I didn't feel like I was in the middle of everything - in other shops it seemed like I was in a meat market.
Kelly herself is a professional and talented artist. She listens to your ideas, asks questions to understand what you want, and provides guidance on what would work best as a tattoo. She pulls everything together and creates a design that exceeds expectation. Compared to some of my previous tattooing experiences, she has a light hand and works fast, making for relatively easy session. She is approachable, doesn't have "attitude," and genuinely cares about you as a client. I've done both big and small tattoos with her, and receive the same treatment every time.
Given what I've experienced at Honor & Grace and the results of Kelly's work on me, I strongly recommend others to stop by, whether you're considering your first tattoo or your next tattoo.

The shop is super clean, like they hired an extremely OCD janitorial staff kind of clean. The are very meticulous about their Vid-19 protocols and procedures, so no worries there. Kelly is an amazing artist. This is only the 2nd tatt I have gotten from her, but my wife has been a loyal customer to Kelly for over 10 years. Extremely talented artist who listens to your ideas and creates masterpieces. I won't be going anywhere else for tattoos! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You feel like family from the minute you walk in the door. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for an experienced and talented tattoo artist. If I were an aspiring tattoo artist this place would be on my short list of tattoo shops to be an apprentice at!!
