My friend and I came to this shop to get a new piercing, after talking with Janessa, who was a great help in selecting the right piercing for me due to size constraints on what I originally wanted, I was able to get a highly recommended piercing that I enjoy and feel looks great! From start to finish the whole process was enjoyable and had less pain than I expected due to the skills and knowledge of Janessa! The environment in the store was comfortable and fun! Super nice and friendly people. The shop is nice and light and airy. Family run and they will make you feel like family. While I was getting my tattoo done the owner and his wife went around separately to check on the artists to see if they needed anything and to compliment their work and also chit chatted with my friend and me for a bit. It was so nice. The little conversations can make people feel so welcome and invited. I can't say enough good things about this place. We have a small family business here in Upstate NY ('Stump City Brewing' (shameless plug LOL)..Come see us!) and I'm so happy I was able to support another family owned small business. If I'm ever down visiting again and looking to get a tattoo I'll def be going here again. All the luck to the new-ish artist my friend and I had (owners sister) she was super nice and professional and we are very pleased with our new tattoos.

I knew this was the right place as soon as I walked in the door. This was my first tattoo. I needed artistic input and someone who was confident giving it. Adam did the work. He is so talented. I watched him and was in awe. I gave him the idea and he customized to make it my own. I couldn’t be happier. The business was a wonderful mix of very creative people, a hairless cat and a sprinkling of well behaved, intelligent children. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I’ve been going to Empire since I was 18! I’ve gotten 4 of my tattoos done here. 2 by Adam 2 by other artists and have never been disappointed. Adam and Hali are absolutely amazing and their shop is such a great environment they treat everyone like family and it’s always a good time around them. Anytime someone asks what’s the best tattoo shop in town I always tell them Empire Tattoo is the best hands down not only do they make you feel extremely comfortable, you’ll always have good laughs and they do amazing work!

Loved the shop and the people in it! I had a beautiful butterfly done and cannot wait to finish it. While its been healing there was a spot I was worried about. I messaged them about it and they got back with me within a few minutes to answer any questions I had about the healing process. Definitely will be going to them again.
