I love this shop so much, Channing the owner is the best of the best. I’ve been getting tattooed by him for years. My husband and I have also been getting tattooed by the lovely Larissa and I recommend the both of them when anyone asks about tattoos in the area. They both make you feel so welcome and no judgment. The way everyone works so well with one another is obvious as soon as you walk in. If you’re reading this wondering if this is the shop for you I can promise it is. Wonderful people, great vibes, amazing tattoos. Whatever you need, they can get it done for you.

One of our daughters (age 9) has been begging to get her ears pierced for a few years. We thought she was responsible enough to take care of her piercings and wanted the safest and best experience possible so we went to Monica at Metamodern. Long story short, after the first (perfectly placed) piercing, our daughter panicked. Monica was wonderful, patient and so kind. She gave us the option of leaving and coming back whenever. Our daughter said it didn’t hurt but the needle freaked her out so badly, we ended up leaving to give her time to collect herself. Later that day, our daughter was able to go back to have her other ear pierced. She was calm and didn’t cry at all. What could’ve been a traumatic and self confidence-crushing experience was quite the opposite thanks to the kindness and professionalism exhibited by Monica. We can’t recommend her enough.

I inquired about having my 4 year old daughters ears pierced with a needle with an artist from this shop. I was absolutely shocked that Monica could see my daughter same day! Monica was so patient and gentle with my daughter and I am so impressed. Even though my daughter did cry during the initial lobe piercings, she is so happy with the end result! I am as well. The after care instructions are also simple and clear which helps tremendously. I could not have asked for a better experience for my daughters first piercings! Monica also extended the offer to follow up with my daughter and having that avenue for communication is so important! Thank you!

Larissa is amazing! She’s done many tattoos on me so far in the past two years since we first met and I couldn’t be more pleased with her work. It’s not just her artistry it’s HER as a human being. She’s the soul you need when doing permanent body art. She listens and she also has a way to make a piece of art into something very unique for the individual person. She is always looking for ways to perfect and better her craft and truly makes you feel at home when you are sitting in her chair.
