Wonderful lady, good prices! Will make this place a stop on future visits! I was total last minute thing, she fit 2 Tattoos in anyways on a Sunday! She was busy too, had group of 6 or so come in after us,

1 girls started fading at a week the others still bold after 2.
As I expected from past experience with their skin types, that's why they say it stays 1-2 weeks, it can depend on your personal skin type and body chemistry.
Great fun. Great memories!
Ask if she has her bottle cap rings for sale yet, she was working on some designs , they looked awesome!But not ready yet!

Carolyn gave me my first Jagua tattoo *NOT BLACK HENNA* I came in with a photo of what I wanted and Carolyn free handed the entire piece the exact size and location that I wanted! We had fun conversation the entire time she was working on my piece as well. Pricing was extremely reasonable I paid only $30 for my piece which had pretty intricate details! (See the photo I uploaded) Was going to be charged $40 at the Henna Shop at Dukes lane for something far smaller and simplistic. Highly recommend carolyn and her work to anyone you have GOT to visit her to get a henna tattoo shes the best! ๐บ๐ค๐ผโคโค

Carolyn is great. My jagua tattoo is beautiful. Itโs been a week and it still looks good. I went to see her before my vacation in Wakiki ended. I highly recommend her. Sheโs also very nice. 5/5. I will be back to get both hands done on my return to Honolulu! Thanks Carolyn!

I had a great experience at Honolulu Henna. Carolyn is an *artist* who created my tattoos (plumeria, pineapple and Hawaiian islands - yes, I went full aloha) freehand! Also, a first for me, she cares about the quality of the henna that she uses. See reviews about getting up to her studio, do not be put off - it's on the 2nd floor and very pleasant inside. I'll be visiting Carolyn next time I'm in Honolulu!

I decided to get a henna tattoo to celebrate my 50th birthday trip to Wakiki...Carolyn was so awesome!! She introduced me to Jagua and I must say it is absolutely amazing!! Good ole' Midwestern girl like myself and we hit it off great!!! Price was very reasonable and she gets it done!! I'm a picky person when it comes to henna, so when it was time for my vacation to Hawaii I only wanted the best. I looked through many webpages and photographs of the various henna artists that Oahu had to offer and Carolyn is definitely the best. I could tell from the photos that she is an artist by the various styles and requests from customers that she takes. Everything she does is freehand and it's amazing to see what she can come up with. I was not very specific with her. I asked her to do something on my right arm and make it look tattoo style with some dangly bits. She used jagua for the tattoo look and was able to give me the perfect design! All of her henna is made by herself using safe and natural ingredients.
She is appointment only and since she's such an amazing artist, she is quite booked but was very flexible with working with my busy vacation schedule. Her cute little studio is located in the 2nd floor of a business complex and signs point you right to her door. If you don't have an appointment and you show up, she may not be there or is busy with other clients, so make sure to book ahead! If you're an animal lover like me, she has delightful turtles that she spoils in her studio that you can watch while you're getting your henna done, or just chat with Carolyn. She's an amazing soul and I'm glad that I went with her!

Carolyn is so sweet and always does amazing art! I usually bring in a reference picture and she does an amazing job making it exactly to your liking. Not to mention she has prices that canโt be beat! Definitely check her out in waikiki or for parties too!

If you are in Waikiki & donโt get henna/jagua done by Carolyn, youโre missing out! Not only is her spot super chill, sheโs so much fun! She freehanded the most beautiful pieces on my arms & I am obsessed. Seriously I canโt stop looking at them! Her prices are great & her touch up offer is killer too. We vacation here yearly & I am already excited to get more done from her when I come back :)
