Blue Hawaii Tattoo & Piercing Maui

This was my first tattoo and I was a little nervous, met Sean and to be honest he didn't instill a great sense of comfort, he kinda shook his head as I told him what I wanted. I showed him two pictures. I was in a hurry and needed a tat next day, he cleared his schedule and got me in. I came in and he had a sketch, we made some changes and went off to the races. Sean knocked it out of the park! His tattoo exceeded my expectations. He worked very diligently for 5 hours. I highly recommend Sean, I couldn't be happier. I had some tat heads give me high praise for his work. If I come back to Maui, I will definitely look him up again!

We called in to see if they had any availability for 2 small tattoos for my wife and I. We have always wanted to get matching tattoos and what better time to do that than on our honeymoon!!
They were able to accommodate us and get us in the next morning! Everyone at the shop was extremely friendly and they worked as a team anyone would be lucky to be a part of. We were lucky enough to be paired up with Jonny and he was absolutely amazing. He kept great conversation through the entire tattoo and we were both in and out of there within 3 hours. If you are on vacation or if you’re a local looking for a great place to get a beautiful tattoo I would highly recommend them!

I was in Maui for a family vacation and I really wanted to get a tattoo while I was down there
So I found this place. I’m so glad I did. Super welcoming, super friendly staff, everyone seemed very passionate about what they do. Very accommodating staff as well. David was my artist and we scheduled this appointment over the phone. I told him exactly what I wanted and he executed my vision perfectly. I highly recommend if you are looking for some quality work in hawaii.

Blue Hawaii was professional and putting out positive vibes from the second I stepped in the door until the payment for my tattoo. I was seeking a walk-in appointment and checked several shops in the Lahaina area. Blue Hawaii's service and response to my tattoo idea was by far the most welcoming compared to the others. Johnny was able to find me an appointment the same day with Abel Lopez. Abel was easy to work with on the details of the tattoo. He took his time while tattooing me, and the piece turned out great. All of the artists and staff that I interacted with while there were great. I highly recommend Blue Hawaii for any tattoo you want done on the island of Maui.

Got my first tattoo today. My wife and younger brother also got tattoos. 10/10 experience. My tat looks and feels great. Great customer service. Friendly and nice staff. Oh yeah and great ambiance in the room. Great place to get a tattoo on Maui

Got my latest ink done by David back in May. It was great to sit back and talk with David as he worked. We talked about everything from radio stations in California we listened to, to motorcycles, to dogs. It was a my wife and I’s 3rd anniversary trip we decided to get some ink done on our last day on Maui. The shop is very clean and a very friendly welcoming atmosphere. With as much as I love my new ink, I wished you could have given my wife her first Tattoo. Had I had my wits about me, I would have gladly given her my slot with you. my brother and i last minute looked for a shop in help on his make a wish trip! the shop owner was incredibly nice in receiving want we wanted, sasha the receptionist was great at communication, and the two that tattooed us (johnny and another i can’t remember the name of) were extremely kind and professional. i would fly all the way out there for a tattoo every time if i could! definitely would recommend.

Great friendly staff, me and my wife went in to get tattoos to commemorate or honeymoon and everyone there was super helpful and patient. Got a couple amazing tattoos and couldn't be happier! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a tattoo before leaving Hawaii! Phenomenal shading done by the owner Dave and clean fine line work from Johnny! We checked out quite a few shops in the area and Blue Hawaii tattoo had the best looking portfolio and you can easily see their finished work on their Instagram! Will definitely be back next time we're in Maui!

This was my first tattoo and this place is absolutely awesome. If you come to Maui and you’re wanting a tattoo you definitely need to check them out and ask for Abel he does amazing work. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I went to Blue Hawaii tattoo & piercing while visiting Maui recently and David was my tattoo artist. He was super friendly, very informative, and he was fast! The tattoo turned out AMAZING! He did a fantastic job and his line work is nice and clean. I would definitely recommend David and this shop to anyone who asks. If I’m ever in Maui again and have an itch for a new tattoo, I’ll be going back there!
