Bob is the best. this place takes walk ins while at the same time gives you the best quality tattoo. Definitely recommend to anyone in the chicago land area. super reasonable pricing compared to other tattoo shops in chicago. love this place!!!

Came up to Chicago from Florida to get work done at Family Tattoo - they did not disappoint!!! Jason Hoodrich is AMAZING!! The work done by Jason on myself and the work done by Bob Haase on my friends exceeded all expectations- I knew it was going to be awesome but came out to be out of this world awesome! Would I go back? Definitely! This establishment is extremely clean and they just do it right- from the moment we walked in to the moment we left- just an incredible shop full of extremely talented artists. If you are considering going to Family or looking at a new piece, go see them! You will NOT be disappointed, I promise.

Got a beautiful custom tattoo by Bill. Felt very welcome, amazing quality. It's been more than a year later and the colors still look great. I was able to walk in and he did a touch up right then and there. I get compliments all the time. Whenever someone mentions getting a tattoo I always make sure to recommend Family Tattoo!

Very good prices and professionalism. One of the artists there created my tattoo and made an awesome design for me(on a walk-in). They were offering me plenty of breaks and had plenty of water bottles for customers. The whole place was very clean, from the door all the way to the restroom in the back. I am very pleased when I look in the mirror and see my tattoo. Though it is artist specific and not the whole shop, I did have a few dissatisfactions with my tattoo consisting of: asymmetry and shading that went outside the line work. For my piece, both problems are not noticeable at a quick look up close or from a distance, but some people care a lot about every little detail even if no one else will notice, because they themselves can see it. That is the purpose of my giving for 4 instead of 5 stars. I still really liked the place and would come back again

This place was an absolute amazing recommendation from another local business. My friend and I walked in with no appointment, Bob drew up the artwork and immediately took care of us both. The quality of the work is top notch and is the fastest ink I've ever received. Were i a local to the area, this would absolutely be my new shop of choice!

Being impulsive, I walked in on a Sunday to get a tattoo. I decided that day I wanted one. I was in Chicago with my family and wanted to see what I could find. This shop popped up on google so I called to see what their shop minimum was. Being not expensive, I decided to go here because they also take walk-ins. This was the best decision ever. Heath is the one who did my tattoo and I strongly recommend him. I got an American taditonal off the wall. They have super reasonable prices and they are all extremely welcoming. If you live in the area please try this place out! Amazing.

I was here about a year ago got a beautiful peicee done by Health Rave the color were beautiful and the tattoo is still beautiful and vibrant, it's a very clean place and they are willing to do an appointment with you and work within your budget. Very upfront about the styles that they so and each guy has his speciality and are willing to let you know if they can or can not do a certain style and always willing to refer you to one of the guys at the shop that does the style you're looking for and what you want.
