One of the best tattoo shops I've been to. I came to see guest artist Jacobo Amador. Everyone was really nice here and a lot of talented artist. I'm not from here but I would come back to get tattooed by the other artists here. If I lived here I would definitely be in here frequently. Probably a good thing for my wallet I don't lol.Everything very clean and the playlist was amazing. Love the vibe

This place is amazing! I worked with Isabela and she was so nice, accommodating, and an amazing artist. I sent her an idea of what I wanted and while there I had some things I wanted to add/change. She explained to me what parts of the idea would not work for a great long lasting tattoo (this was only my second one and the first with shading) and came up with an excellent solution that was better than my original idea! I felt heard and understood and am beyond happy with the art!

A couple months ago I was looking for a nice professional place to get teeth gems. My experience with Good Omen was amazing from the moment I dm’ed their teeth gem artist until I walked out of my appointment. Communication was great, the place is very clean and cute, and everyone that worked there was so welcoming and professional. The artist talked to me through every step of the application. She was so so sweet and gave me exactly what I was looking for. And even 4 months later all my gems are still in place and still look perfect. I highly recommend Good Omen for teeth gems and will definitely be returning.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had getting a tattoo. The shop makes you feel super comfortable right away and everybody was so nice from the minute you walk in. Kate was literally amazing. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she completely blew me away with her design. Throughout the entire process she was checking in and making sure we took breaks if I needed them. She was so kind and accommodating I can't thank her enough. I am absolutely in love with my tattoo and I can't wait to go back!

Good Omen is the only place I will be going for tattoos moving forward. I worked with Kate, who was a true professional. She was so kind and empathetic and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable. She was happy to accommodate any changes I wanted to make to the STUNNING design she had prepared for me (size change, position change, etc.) and was completely done in just over an hour. We had great conversation, and I think she knew this was something I needed to distract myself from the feeling of the needle (it was my first tattoo). Her work is beautiful, and she made sure that I had food, snacks, and a good understanding of aftercare before I left. Good Omen is a queer women-owned and operated business. This is not common, in my experience - every tattoo shop I’ve been to to get my piercings was predominately male owned and staffed. The atmosphere just felt safe and I am already looking forward to going back to work with Kate again. Thank you Good Omen for the lovely work!

I can highly recommend Katie Rose working out of Good Omen tattoo in Chicago. I had been looking for a female tattoo artist that specializes in botanical themed art and I have found her! Her creativity, design sense and aesthetic, technical skill, and attention to detail are all top notch. Really stunning work! I have had many many compliments on the work she did for me (butterlies, moths & wildflowers) and looking forward to a return for more work. Echoing other reviewers, the hospitality, professionalism and cleanliness here were above and beyond. Esp these days when those basics seem to be elusive in general. Music, snacks, conversation -- these small touches make for a great experience! The vibe was very comfortable and Katie was kind and attentive. Kudos to Julia for setting up such a stellar incubator of tattoo creativity.

I'd been following their work for awhile and was finally able to afford to get several things done.
I first reached out about a certain cover-up, which was declined. That was the first time someone denied me but I understood how difficult it can be to do cover-up work if the skills aren't there. No big deal.
Then, I mentioned another thing I wanted done - to simply fill in color in a flower. it was just the outline of a sunflower and I wanted to get the leaves filled. that was also "a pass".
still, as someone who admired the work so much, I then asked if they could recommend anyone else who might do the simple color filling.
I then got a long email about how they are "very selective" about who they choose to work with and simply couldn't work with me on anything old or new. it sure felt like there was another reason, since only one of my 3 inquiries was regarding the cover-up.

I can’t rave enough about this shop! Truly one of my favorite shops in Chicago and the main reason is the hospitable and clean environment. I’ve never been greeted by such friendly people in a tattoo shop before and was even offered something to drink and some candy - which is truly some great service! The whole step of the way Julia made sure I felt comfortable. The tattoo came out amazing and I couldn’t be happier about it and my experience here. Definitely check them out!

Not only did a get a dope tattoo; the vibe and atmosphere of the shop was calm and friendly, and every artist had concern for clients ensuring they have food and water. I got a piece done by Julia Campione, who did a fantastic job with the tattoo and would get another piece done by her in a heartbeat.
