Time & Tide Tattoo

Tattoos by Jason are the best! I've had a cover up done and another piece of my sleeve done by him. The only thing I asked for in my cover up was the carnation, everything else was up to him and I love the way it turned out, especially the tiny details like the mushroom and the pebbles. He's kind, super talented and makes easy conversation. I felt like we were long time friends after the first session. Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place and cannot speak highly enough of it! I went in for my first tattoo and everyone there was very helpful. There can be a bit of a wait but it's worth it to have a good tattoo.

My artist was Giacomo DelRio and he did such an amazing job. I went in with a slightly different design than what I got but I love this so much more. The compliments I've gotten for my tattoo aren't surprising at all, the design and work are simply amazing. Giacomo was very attentive to the placement and making the tattoo last without really changing what I wanted. He even worked on incorporating an idea that I had a bit late so that the final design was everything I wanted, which I really appreciate. He also checked to make sure I was alright during it, another well appreciated factor.

Needless to say, I recommend Time and Tide - especially Giacomo - and will definitely be trusting them to do my future tattoos.

I did try to use this business. At first they were great, as soon as I venmoed them the down payment they were very helpful, I was scheduled for an appointment in four months. I understand they are busy, and I was more than willing to wait. Well, my time comes and I get an appointment confirmation email, I respond to this email accepting the appointment. I know they have a no guest policy, and I completely understand, but I simply asked if I could bring my wife (completely understanding that the answer would probably be no). But, without a reasonable response, my appointment was cancelled. In fairness, my original deposit was refunded, but it seemed like a very rash response to a simple question.

Jason did a great job on tweaking a butterfly/ chrysanthemum, narcissus, Lily of the valley tattoo. The flowers represent my grandchildren birth flower ♥️

I trust no place in the Midwest for tattoos as I do Time and Tide in Bloomington, IN. From the moment I initiated the work, I felt like I was part of a group effort that focused solely on my satisfaction. Jess, the front office manager, was easy to communicate with, and making an appointment for the tattoo was very easy. Her response time was quick, and my busy schedule was accommodated. No one could have rendered the image for my tattoo like Giacomo. The one he most recently completed was of my family cat, and he captured her in mid-meow, immortalizing her exactly how I envisioned. Giacomo is an artist first and foremost, and I believe that is one of the main reasons he can be trusted to do something so intricate. I will never go anywhere else for my tattoos. I also applaud the efforts of the Colin and Jason, as I know they make up the creative group that labors in the space. I am completely satisfied with Time and Tide, and I highly recommend this establishment.

A wonderful, very professional business! I had my first tattoo done by Giacomo and had a great experience. The front desk staff are very kind, the place has a cool vibe and is very well kept, and I ended up with a beautiful piece. I would strongly recommend working with Giacomo.

I have no doubt that there are talented and professional artists employed at this shop. The experience I had with the receptionist and a male artist who works here was extremely disappointing. When I made an appointment for the consultation they told me that I would sit down and discuss my tattoo. I waited several weeks. When I went in the artist took about thirty seconds to talk to me and said to just email the photos. I chalked it up to him being busy. I paid a deposit and sent photos and details for my tattoo the day I made the appointment. I asked a couple weeks later if I could see the tattoo and the receptionist told me that he usually doesn’t draw it until a couple days ahead of time. This made me a little nervous because it was an entire sleeve I held onto faith that it would work out. Three months later the day of my tattoo comes and they call me to tell me that he needs to move my appointment back four hours. I also found out he still had not even drawn my tattoo. I was not going to be available and asked if I could just have my deposit back at this point. She said she would and and call me right back. I waited thirty minutes for her to call me and ended up calling her. Turns out she told him I didn’t want the tattoo and told me that they don’t refund deposits because I cancelled the tattoo and that he had gone home. Which was devastating to me because I would have cancelled my other commitments if I knew that were the situation. The did not return my $100 deposit. I don’t know who the receptionist is now but if you get ANY kind of bad feeling or vibe listen to your gut and look further.

Best Tattoo shop within a 2 hour drive for sure! Every artist is legit, and have a variety of styles that they are on point!

Today I met Giacomo and Jess for my first tattoo. They were both amazing! The shop was very well laid out and clean. Both Jess and Giacomo were very professional but also pretty laid back. I came in feeling nervous and a bit unsure of what to expect. Within minutes, I started to feel much more relaxed and open. Giacomo took time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted while also offering his own professional advice. He explained everything before we started so I wasn't surprised at any point of the session. They are both a total blast to talk to through the session and helped keep me occupied. Highly recommend! Definitely coming back for more!

I had such a good experience at Time and Tide! Jason did a fantastic job giving me my first tattoo; he was enthusiastic and thorough during the design process, making sure I approved of every detail. He was also very encouraging while I was under the needle as well. The final product is exactly what I wanted, and very reasonably priced. If you're there during a busy or understaffed time, just know it's worth the wait and that the artists will do their very best to give you exactly what you want. Trust them.
