The Cherry Cherub

Absolutely fell in love with this place and the people!! So many incredible things to check out just around the shop! They have shows playing too, which is helpful for background noise (it helps me, personally)! I will definitely be coming back! I got this tattoo done by Annabelle, and they KILLED!! I also got some Adventure Time prints that Dejae has on display! They were so sweet and kept checking up on how I was doing! one of my new favourite places. 🧡🧡

Also, I've seen some people say that the work is mediocre and kind of bad, but honestly, and my own personal opinion, i love tattoos that look like that. It gives it character and has a personal feel to it. So not a drop of negative feels from me. I love it 🥰

So happy with the piece Annabelle did for me! She and Dajae were so lovely, patient, and collaborative! I had the best experience! The atmosphere and vibe of the shop is super comfy and welcoming. Highly recommend them!

One of the best shops in Evansville! They are SO SO SO nice and wonderful! The art is beautiful and the shop has an amazing vibe. I greatly recommend this shop!

I don't have enough good things to say about this tattoo shop, and I meant to write this review MUCH sooner.

I've been patronizing this shop since it opened, and some of her artists for longer than that. Ever since, I haven't looked back and I haven't gotten any tattoos from anyone else. Just to break it down...

The shop is absolutely pristine. Every time I come in, there is no doubt in my mind that the materials being used for my piece are fresh and sterile, from the major (gloves and the needles, of course) to the minor (ink caps, even the Coban on the machine).

It's well-decorated, as well. A minor thing for some, but the interior truly reflects the personalities, artistry, and expertise of those who work within. The studio has an absolutely wonderful vibe.

I have never once set foot in this shop and felt anything less than welcome and at ease. The work her artists do is excellent. I began getting tattoos as soon as I was legally allowed to do so because I felt they were a confidence booster, and I can say that that is the reason I will continue to get tattoos from The Cherry Cherub's artists. I've received many compliments on the pieces I've received there about every aspect of my work, from the line art, to the shading, to the vibrancy of the colors and the realism.

It's true that tattooing is a male-dominated field; however, it does say a lot that the peak of tattooing in the city of Evansville is an all-women tattoo shop.

TL;DR: 10/10. Haven't gotten tattoos anywhere else since they opened. Won't get tattoos anywhere else as long as they are.

I went in for their Friday the 13th flash event. They were very busy so we had to wait, but the wait did not nearly feel as long as it was because of this incredible atmosphere. This was the first Cherry Cherub tattoo I've gotten and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I have never seen cleaner lines in this area. I will definitely be going again. I would also like to mention that this studio is very clean and the artists are very friendly and respectful.

Annabelle did a great job on the cutest cat tattoo. It looks great and she was super nice and easy to talk to. I also have a cute little strawberry done by Dejae that is also lovely. Both girls are incredibly nice. Would recommend:)

My tattoo artist was Annabelle and she did a great job! She was kind are was very caring. The atmosphere Was amazing too. You feel very accepted there. And when I requested that my tattoo be touched up a little more how I like it, it was done no questions asked. They didn’t a great job! Very happy!
