Marvel Tattoo and piercings

I went in fir a consultation a few weeks prior. My artist and I had a brief discussion and he seemed to have a plan. When I came in he unfortunately seemed to of forgotten our plan! Which of course made me nervous, but I trusted him. I gave him my concept again, a picture and within 45 minutes I had a tattoo I didn't even anticipate and I am in love. The coloring is perfect, 3 days after the tattoo I have zero discomfort. The swelling has gone down, which is expected overall, and I couldn't be happier.

I got my nipples pierced by Lexie. She was very thorough about what she was going to do and how it was going to be done. It was pretty painless and very quick. Very sanitary. If ur looking to get it done I recommend you do ur research I think it's very helpful. Ppl do say its painful but for me it wasnt really painful. I would recommend doing it and going here.

The girl who pierced my lip back in october used the wrong sized studs to pierce with! Then they refused to help me change them out as i couldnt get them out myself. Now in the end one of my piercings rejected and the other causes me pain all the time. Would never get pierced here again.

I came here on my 18th birthday to get my second and third lobe piercings. I was a little nervous as I have never been pierced with a free hand needle (I've gotten two other piercings, both of which were guns). I had called a week prior and asked about pricing, the girl I talked to was very friendly and down to earth. She gave me the necessary information, and she spoke to me as if she was an old friend, while still maintaining a professional attitude.
When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome and smiles. I was surprised to see how clean and relaxing the atmosphere was. I told them I was there to get my ears pierced and they asked for my ID, promptly wished me a happy birthday, and handed me the consent forms. As I filled them out, the girl told me she would go back to prep the room. I browsed the tattoo designs as I waited and she came out to get me and my boyfriend. We went back to the piercing room, which resembled a doctors office, but frankly was WAYYY cleaner. All her tools were kept on a medical tray. She marked my ears with a toothpick and loose ink (seemed much more sanitary than a permanent marker). Then she took out the needles, wrapped individually with the each earring. I was soooo nervous but she was very nice, calming, and conversational. She put the needle to my ear, had me take a seal breath, and next thing I know she was done! It was amazing. Barely any pain at all, just a slight poke. I was shocked! I haven't had any issues since!! They are barely sore, I haven't had much gunk around the piercings like I've had in the past. All around the expert has been GREAT!! I will definitely be back to Marvel!!!

1pm missed appointment.
Showed up 15 min early to the appointment, the artist was obviously in middle of another tattoo. Waited for a half hour pretty obvious double booked. They said "we weren't in the computer" but had a slip with original call and tattoo design. I called the artist and spoke with him and emailed the shop 2 werks early (the receptionist was able to pull up my email the artist had not done this yet..)

Marvel Tattoo is a great place to get a tattoo. First off, it’s clean. Everybody working there is friendly and seems to know what they are doing. Larry Bone did my tattoo. It was quick and looks great. If I’m ever looking to get another, this will be the place I go to.

My fiancé and I have been coming to Marvel frequently for a while now. I had tried a few different shops before that I had disliked and I thought I finally found the one place who had gotten it right. But tonight, Rebecca was to pierce my vertical labret. Rebecca has done the majority of my piercings and I absolutely adore them but this piercing ended up being crooked and just not quite right. Noticing that it wasn't how it seemed, my fiancé called the shop to express our concern and was told to tell me to let it heal and we can do it over. It is to my understanding that they said we would have to pay again, from what I could hear from my place away from the phone. So at this point I was like 'mistakes happen, this can be fixed but I'm still upset,y'know?' So we went elsewhere to get a second opinion and see if it really was crooked or if I was delusional. The piercing was crooked and unsatisfactory so we had it removed, because who would want to go around with something they didn't enjoy on their face? After getting it removed, we returned to Marvel to speak with Rebecca and she didn't seem keen on speaking to us. She refused to admit it was crooked, told us she couldn't redo it because somebody else took it out, blamed the appearance on the swelling although the holes are visibly crooked, and didn't offer us any other options. It was a slap to the face to be treated this way by one of our favorite stores to visit. We frequent Marvel more than any other place we travel to, and it was one of my all time favorites until tonight when I was made to feel at fault for something that easily could have been dealt with without all of these tears and the drama. I'm very disappointed that someone I looked up to has let me down tonight. I still have the highest respects for the shop as a whole and their cleanliness and knowledge, I'm just very hurt at the customer service tonight and I don't think I will be returning. 40 dollars down the drain and now I have a splinter in my heart.

I had my belly button pierced, and Lexie was so amazing and made sure i felt safe and confident. She is so re assuring and does a great job! I love it

Had my very first tattoo (43 yrs old) done by Erika and it was a great experience all around! I am in love with the work she done and will be scheduling an appt for my second tattoo very soon♥️♥️
