Terrible piercing experience - told piercer my lips tend to swell a lot when pierced so I might need a longer bar. She proceeded to say 'oh I don't usually have that problem' and then pierced my lip, without any warning I might add. No 'breathe in' no 'on the count of 3..' nothing. So that was unpleasant. Anyway I was instructed to use alcohol free mouthwash about 5 times a day, orange dial soap to clean the exterior, ice it but not directly on the jewelry so it doesn't freeze, dont touch it al all with fingers or mess with it with tongue, and take ibuprofen if needed. I followed these directions to a T, and just as suspected my lip swelled to much is began to 'eat' the jewelry and I had to take it out. To top all of this off, I decided to leave my review on their Facebook page. I got a sparky comeback from the piercer more or less saying I'm incompetent and can't follow verbal instructions, when I had already mentioned I did. She also stated she told me that's the only size jewelry the had, which is not true, but even if it is, what kind of legitimate piercing shop only has one size of jewelry for lips? They come in all shapes and sizes, not just one uniform size. Most decent companies would come back and apologize for the experience and and tempt to make it right with their customer. Not this company. I get talked down to and pretty much called dumb. What a joke. Lucie or whatever her name is, is by far the most rude employee I have come across. I will absolutely never return to this joke of a shop.
