Joe has done a few of my tattoos and I absolutely love him. He is the only person I personally have had, but my friend sees Ted and they have both been great! He's done several touch ups for me for discounts, and he talks to me to calm me while I'm getting the tattoo done.
The only thing that annoys me is their customer service. Sometimes it's hard to get attention at the counter, and trying to give them your signature might take 5-10 minutes or more. Their also not very timely. There was a point where I didn't get in until an hour after my appointment. I'd say if you're going, go to Ted or Joe, but make sure you have a good chunk of time! You're probably not going to actually get in to your appointment until at least a half hour after you show up.

Cash only establishment. People were smoking in the back room next to the piercing room, there was a pillow on the piercing table for people to use (highly unsanitary) the piercer was nice but the pictures for the piercings were not correct. I am not going to hide that I was REALLY worried about getting an infection because of the cleanliness of the shop and areas. I wouldn't recommend this place for people to get piercings period.

MOST OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive place for the smallest and least work done; WORST customer service,;plus they charge for touch-ups... and that's was only after 6 days after originally getting tattoo that i was informed that. I've had tattoos done in Ames, Ankeny, and 3 places in Fort Dodge; PC is by far the WORST, MOST EXPENSIVE, and least satisfying in customer service department

I went to permanent collection and got a tattoo from the infamous Joe. The shading and color looked very "different" to me. Joe was friendly but tattoo was very poor according to other tattoo artists around. Had to have it redone which was not cheap. Other staff besides Joe were very rude and arrogant when waiting for tattoo to be drawn up as well. Will not recommend or return to Permanent Collection

Probably the best premier shop in fort Dodge. Excellent artist clean environment years of experienced artists. I would go nowhere else for my ink or body piercing.
