I got my nose pierced by Maya Modifications. I am impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness. The gentleman that pierced my nose made sure everything was sanitized in between clients and made me feel comfortable. He was informative and knowledgeable about what he was doing and how to take care of my piercing. He made me feel welcome. I have no tattoos, but I would recommend Maya Modifications simply because of the adventure. I honestly enjoyed my time in Maya Modifications and hope they continue to succeed.

Super professional and very clean. They were running on schedule for my appointment and narrated every part of the process, including explaining the autoclave & various equipment they used. I left feeling confident in my aftercare as well as comfortable to call back if I have any questions.
They carry high end jewelry which is gorgeous but I was a bit surprised that piercing jewelry started at $50 and the first pieces I was priced were over $200. Definitely worth the money, though. I didn’t check out their website first, so I think this is on me but want others to be aware before arrival.

Rich is an amazing piercer. Such a fun guy and so good at making you feel comfortable! I’m so happy with my piercings (paired nostrils) and I recommend him to everyone! Most qualified and knowledgeable piercers in the whole area!

i have gotten 5 piercings here and bought a decent amount of jewelry as well as my tooth gems. rich is an amazing piercer as well as the other guy there. great work and helpful and kind. when i got my tooth gems she was so nice and did great work, i’ve had them for like 5-6 months now and they aren’t lose at all! i recommend this place to everyone !!

Eve did absolutely amazing on my tattoo. It was my first, so she walked me through every step of the process. She made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Even gave me her card in case there was car troubles on my way back home (harsh snow). Amazing person overall. 110% recommend!

Maya's is my absolute favorite place for both tattoos and piercings! Great people and great work! I've been to other places as I no longer live in the SC area and the experience never compares to what you get when you come here so I knew without a doubt that when my daughter asked to get her ears peirced where to take her. She was nervous going in but all smiles leaving! Always worth the travel time to come here so if you're considering getting some ink or something peirced don't hesitate to book an appointment!

On September 3rd I had made the final decision to get an industrial bar piercing. This has been something I’ve always wanted to do but to nervous to do it.
My middle daughter highly recommend going here and having Rich be the one to do it. So, my oldest daughter went with me & well we both ended up getting it done. I loved that Rich took the time and gave his honest advice about what ear would work best and if we had the actual ear space. I am forever grateful for the honest answer to all of my questions that day.
I’m still obsessed with this piercing.

The owner has done a number of my tattoos and my nose piercing. She always gives her honest opinion on size wanted for tattoos, whether they should be bigger so they look better (detailed tattoos) or suggesting other locations. Very professional and clean shop. Definitely a repeat customer for life!

I had my first tattoo done today and let me just say that I was blown away by my first experience. Eva did an outstanding job in both customer service as well as the quality of work. Throughout the entire process she made sure I was comfortable and happy with what was happening as well as working with me from the very beginning to create changes to my design. Overall outstanding and would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo!
