The Skin Works Tattoo Shop: A Mixed Bag of Reviews
The Skin Works Tattoo Shop is a tattoo parlor located in Bossier City, Louisiana. The shop is open seven days a week, but the hours are not listed online. The shop offers tattoos and piercings, but there are no details available on the website about the artists or their specialties. The shop has received mixed reviews from customers.
Some customers have had positive experiences at The Skin Works Tattoo Shop. They have praised the artists for their talent and the quality of their work. One customer said that they had gotten six tattoos from the shop, and all of them were great. Another customer said that they had gotten a tattoo from Cedric, who drew their picture exactly the same and tattooed it in just 45 minutes.
However, other customers have had negative experiences at the shop. Some have complained about the attitude of the artists, saying that they were rude and uninterested in their business. One customer said that they had gone in for a belly button piercing and started bleeding heavily, but the piercer didn't seem to care. Another customer said that they had gone in to get a tattoo, but the artist acted like they didn't want to do it and told them they didn't want their business.
Overall, The Skin Works Tattoo Shop seems to be a mixed bag. While some customers have had positive experiences, others have had negative experiences with the attitude of the artists. If you're considering getting a tattoo or piercing at this shop, it may be worth reading through the reviews to see if it's the right fit for you.

Got a tattoo on the back of my neck last July and was told It would be touched up... well covid 19 hit and they were shut down and border closed from Texas, i made it over on Saturday 9/19/2020 and was informed it could only be touched up by the person who done it and could ONLY be done on Monday or Thursday as i live over 100 miles away and am raising my granddaughter who just started school, it just will not work for me. They were not willing to work with me at all. I have had other tattoos for 17 years that has never need any touch up!!! So i will PAY for it to be done again but not by them . To get the tattoo fixed that cost me 75 from them is going to cost me 100 to get fixed. I would never recommend them to anyone ever !!!!

I am a 60 year old woman who recently got my first tattoo. Shane McCormick was so nice, friendly and professional. I am so pleased with my tattoo and was amazed at how clean and sanitary their shop was. I came all the way from North Carolina to get my tattoo at Skin Works and it was well worth the trip.

tried to charge me $150 for 4 butterflies, smaller than an inch. everyone was INCREDIBLY rude. Got priced $80 for the same tattoo and two different places.

The staff was beyond friendly!! A long wait but other than that great staff would've gotten 5 stars... until I took my bandage off and saw my tattoo, It was a simple arrow and they literally forgot to shade a line

The 'artist' that we spoke with Saturday seemed like the laziest, least talented tattooist I've ever met. He had no vision or desire for the piece we tried talking to him about and we quickly left. Pathetic. I can't believe this place is open. With 'artists' running around lacking any kind of imagination or willingness to help people achieve their dream tattoo. The piercers here are awesome. But I will never recommend Skinworks for body ink. Visit Body Electric or Iron Horse instead.

For my first tattoo I love it dearly, I personally enjoy the place to as a business. I will not lie and say i had a great experience when it came to the person that gave me my tattoo though. First when i got there, there was one person inside getting a tattoo done atm, and the workers at the front asked what i would want done and i told them a tattoo so they told me to wait for the artist to come in and get ready and we can talk to him about it, so we did. when he got inside he asked me what i had in mind and i had a reference picture on my phone to show him so i was turning it on to be able to show him and he just was rushing me to tell him what i wanted. (Keep in mind i and one other person was the only one there so why? other than the workers lol) so to me it just showed me that he did not seem like he wanted to be giving me my tattoo, did not want to really have a conversation with me either it seemed like. instead they talked to the people that was beside me getting a tattoo done also. I dont know if i came off weird or something but damn it was kind of frustrating lol. Wasn't really an issue just kind of bothered me personally. All in all he did do a good job in my opinion and i am just absolutely in love with my tattoo. just thought i would share my experience.

Garen did my septum and he was wonderful!! Sanitized everything before and after, and made sure to tell me exactly what he was doing before every step of the process. Wouldn't trust anyone else to pierce me, I'm sold!
