My boyfriend and I both went for tattoos here. I had Jenn and he had Lorena. Both artists were extremely kind, helpful, and caring for our first tattoos! We are both planning on coming back! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and not intimidating at all. We both had quick conversations with Dakota as well and she is as sweet as can be. Could not have asked for a better experience

Lorena does such an amazing job! She's professional and fun at the same time. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. You're always in great hands with her. Can not recommend ENOUGH how great this place is. So worth it! Can't wait for my next one!

I highly recommend Tattoo Guru to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo or piercing. My husband just got his 1st tattoo and he is in love. Brian did his tattoo. Brian was super cool and professional. My husband couldn't have asked for a better 1st experience. While with him as he got his tattoo, I met another artist by the name of Bun. She was another cool artist. Her vibe is really authentic. I had an old tatt that was quite hideous and told her I wanted to get something like a Sunflower. She drew up the perfect sunflower and sprinkled her magic on me.
Let me also add that every one from the manager to the other artists were super cool and professional. As long as I am here in MD, This will definitely be my place to go for ink. Also, Bun does piercing so you'll be in good hands.

Loved it! The staff was so pleasant, such a friendly vibe with the tattooers and the customers alike. Lorena was wonderful! I love my Friday the 13th tattoos! I'll definitely be back!

I hate that i have to write this review because the staff was so friendly and the place was clean and the service was great. However me and my bf went in to get a matching tat in honor of our baby girl that we lost earlier this year and the tattoo when we first got it we loved it. But mine peeled way before his and after it peeled it looked more like scabs and scars vs a healed tattoo. I’m upset because this tattoo was very special to us and it didn’t turn out the way we expected. We were told that the first touch up was free but the way this turned out i don’t even want to go back to get the touch up. I posted pictures. Not sure what happened to them on the review

Sad to see this post I noticed you all were not open no more I heard about Brian I had no idea how sick he was. My Wife and I went for tattoos together as a birthday present for myself. This was my tenth tatoo in general, first time to this shop so I have been to a few different tattooists. Shop was clean and all the people who work there were so friendly and outgoing. Cole worked on me and Lorena worked on my Wife, both took the time to make sure everything in the designs was perfect and walked us through each step. The tattoos came out exactly as we had wanted and are healing up brilliantly. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone but if youre a first timer this shop went above and beyond to really make sure everything was smooth and we understood the processes. Even as someone with a lot of tattoos it was a great shop to go to and I will be back for sure!

Bun is by far the best tattoo artist. She’s very gentle - her work is top tier. She shows her concern for your wellbeing while you’re in chair and beyond. I’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed by her twice and she never fails to amaze me.
My last piece involved a lot of shading in a very sensitive area. Day 2 post tattoo and there is zero swelling……she’s that good. To tell you the truth I didn’t really notice much swelling the day of. I mean I don’t even have the pain I normally have. You won’t be disappointed with Bun or her inking skills.

Omg! I just left earlier today and I cannot stop raving to everyone about how amazing my tattoo and experience was! First off all, ALL WOMEN tattoo artists when I went in! Which is amazing! Everyone was SO nice and knowledgeable and helpful. Cleo did an absolutely beautiful job with my tattoo and I was so comfortable the entire time. Very cute aesthetic, very clean and calm environment, great music, etc.!
